Well here it is, the first viewable beta of my movie. There is still ALOT to be done to it so dont knock it too hard, here is a list that needs to be completed:
Flow music together
- Right now it chops in and out when the music changes, ima make my own soundtrack for it too, this one here is just so you get the idea of what its gonna sound like.
Plext Media Intro
- I have no idea what im gonna do for this, at first you can see i was gonna do that whole 21st Century Fox thing, i even had the music and all but due to copyrights i gotta change it..
Dialogue
- After all the shots are completed etc, ima do the voices, i think me and my brother are going to be remus, my father will be the pharaoh, and my mother will be Asp/Mothership... plus i still need a few people for the rest of the Merc team.
AI Script Finish
- Its nearly complete but i gotta do the end scene.. Romulus and Remus's team comes in to save them, they shoot and kill asp, and they leave peacefully..
Tweaking
- As you can see some of the camera angles get screwed up depending on the resolution i use.. detail and if im recording or not, so im gonna try to edit this to make it universal for all.
Ok well thats it for now.. LEMME HAVE IT!

downloaded it...it was decent...the voice for the egyptian guy seemed a bit too low and really robotic...I think the slow motion thing with the skeletons should be reduced drastically in time...it was cool to have a few custom animations thrown in though...especally with the guy sitting down then standing up in the beginning...I liked that animation...once you complete it with some voicework it should be entertaining to watch

Hey konseptgames.
I just watched your movie and I have have to say it was fairly impressive. The animations were quite good, and the bullet time like sequences were shockingly cool, thought T noticed that the sound effects were out of sync and/or not slowed down. And yes the dialouge sucks, (hell its non existing) but I know your working on that. Yeah sooo, good job on this and keep working and I believe that this will be a great lil movie, and your skillzzzz will really shine.
props.

ya thanks alot, the only thing about the bullet time with the miniguns is it slows down the animations but not the sound :( i dont want to take the time to code a whole new gun just for this so ill play some heavier/techno music in the background so it drowns it out alittle bit and make it about half as long as it is now.
as for the dialogue ive got the scripts written just gotta act em out and **** =\

Downloading now, but a suggestion with voice acting? If you're at uni, see if you can round up some drama students/lecturers who have the right voices. Chances are they'll want to put their names to something/anything if they're a student, and lecturers are usually sympathetic to your plights.
If you're not at uni though, I guess you'll have to scavange for some voice talent elsewhere though.
5% downloaded.

Ugh, Beastie Boys...
I watched it. Looks pretty sweet, but what I suggest is speeding up the bullet time bits. They're way too slow imo.
GJ!

Downloading now.
And those who don't have WinRAR should download it. Rar pwns Zip anyday.
Edit: 50 megs? Lol. Still downloading.
Edit2: Most impressive. I just love the slow-mo effects. Here are my suggestions:
1. Is it possible to make the walking animation less "clunky"? I think those are the default animations, but a little tweaking would definitely help. Make them seem like they're not walking with their weapon always in front of their face.
2. For the first bullettime scene with the skeleton, try changing the camera angle a bit. When you're starting bullettime, focus the camera on the skeleton, and do a 360 while it gets ripped apart. I would also suggest alternating between realtime and bullettime, focusing on two or three skeletons being put down. It'll feel more impressive than one long scene.
3. For the rocket-slow-mo scene, focus on the first rocket rocket a bit more, rushing at the girl in real time, and about a second before it hits, go into bullettime and show her dodge out of the way. Then go into realtime again, and pop back into bullettime everytime there's a near miss (though the battle hasn't been completed, I'm assuming that's not the end of the planned movie).
4. The egyptian's voice, as suggested in this thread, sounds a bit too low. Make it a powerful voice (I have no clue how, but it'd be extremely impressive if a booming voice summoned the skeletons that arise out of the ground).
5. The skeletons seem to make a double-jump sound when they emerge. Is that intentional?
On the whole, it's quite good. Just tweak it up a bit, and finish it.

Also, you might want to use MonkeyMatrixMoves2004 in your video (ask for permission first). Now THAT would be pwnage.

Play around with it, it's quite interesting. It'll make your bullettime sequences easier to make.
