Originally based on a quake3 cpm map (cpm16) it has grown beyond those bounds into a completely new map.

This map is intended to be used at a number of local LANS I attend where eye-candy isnt a big issue so I dont want to go overboard, I also got lazy and copied and pasted decorations from DM-Rankin ;)

Suggestions on layout, item placement, bugs, anything constuctive is welcome.

- Horrible lighting, change it please :).

yeah it looks really really bright...looks like a lot of zonelighting or something...

Brightness is fine with me (now mayb dunno). Everythink is good. The map needs an admosphere, but u allready told us that u didn't care much. I'd only sugest looking at some of the dodging plats, some are useless/to hard.

The map does have good gameplay even if it lacking in the visual department. I don't care ... as long as I can frag some bots without lag then I'm cool. There are enough "I look great but only on the surface" maps floating around ... I'm just glad I found one that is different enough to be called it's own DM map and gives me smooth frame rates.

As long as it's not outright ugly. This one may be a bit bland, (the parts borrowed from Rankin are obvious and done so on purpose) but the developer achieved his/her goal in delivering a solid, if not visually exicting map. All of us who have been playing this game for any length of time know what Ownage maps consist of ... I'm sure the developer does as well and may try and deliver a map of that quality at a later date. In any event thanks for giving us another playable map :up: :) . Peace.

Edited: I hope the map developer is still following this thread because I found a major bug. It really screws up the flow and it needs to be fixed if this is going to be a useable map. It's the small set of stairs ... well you basically slid right through them and it looks as if you are behind the planks ... it really throughs you off. One minute you are going up the stairs and the next you are in the stairs (bots to so it messes up your aim). Besides that I do like this map ... It has great fps and it looks okay. However, if you are not going to fix this bug then I'll have to say this is not a good map. If you aren't going for visuals and originality then all the elements have to work (since they are basic) or else the map fails. I don't want this map to fail so please fix that bug ... maybe you can just lose the staircase altogether ... it's so small anyway ... replace these with crates perhaps, anything just please fix this bug.
