Lost planet, Half Life 2 and halo 2 all released a Windows Media Player skin. Is this something Epic would do for Gears of War?
I seriously hope they do, as a background only goes so far, I want to show my love for gears in a different way.

If they released a WMP skin would you use it?

yeah I was hoping that too..I hope someone can make an actual Windows XP Desktop Theme (windowblinds) that would be awesome! Oh wheres the lost planet and Halo 2 skins?

Yea a skin would be nice but it wouldnt really matter for me cuz i usually just use the default setting (the big one, not the shrinked one) cuz its more affective. A windows theme would be nice too, i would defintly want that....

But how about a Xbox 360 Theme... cuz that would make alittle more sense wouldnt it?

I'm pretty sure those were all fan created themes and not created by the game designers themselves. See if there is a readme file or something that came with it that says who made it, or check the site(s) where you downloaded it I'll bet it has the authors name.

Besides you wouldn't want them to stop working on the game to focus on making a theme pack for Windows Media Player would you?

I think the Lost Planet one is official, as it was on xbox.com
I imagine someone could make one, they would just have to know the right program.

i know they haven't made an official theme for the xbox 360 but you can make your own if you have your computer linked to your 360. all you gotta do is save a nice lookin pic or screen shot of GoW and then go on your 360 and under media set it as your background. i got the one that shows marcus climbing over that car that looks really sweet! hope this helps someone out there who is tired of lookin at the same old crap on there dashboard! it helps if the picture is in high def or really good resolution

I have created one for another of my favorite games, I will create one for this game as well... I also create custom Desktop themes, but those will come in time, I don't get paid to work as hard as do for my favorite games lol.

I know this topic is old as crap, but for anyone who wants it, I found a 360 theme. It's awesome, I have it on my comp :D
