Gears of War $59.99?

Just a small question. Every retailer has Gears of War $59.99... but from what i know and what Microsoft says, all First party games are suppose to be $49.99.

So whats Gears gonna be? Like i already put down $60 cuz the game is defintly worth it... but im still confused if Gears will be $49.99. Anyone know?

Yeah but the thing is I'm gonna buy tons of games at X-mas. Gears, Mass effect (if its released), Too Human, Stranglehold. And there are games coming out soon like Enchanted Arms, Dead Rising and Ninety-Nine Nights, all coming out in Summer... so really im buying 7 games before X-mas (if Mass effect is released in the holiday)...

Im not complaining cuz i already paid for it... but im just wondeirng if Gears was first party price or its third?

Hmm I didn't know first-games should be lower priced, that's probably US only then because all games here have the same price, however some are 5 euros more.

No doubt, I have a friend who brought back his 360 because he didn't like the launch titles! Now he is on ebay buying another after this years E3. It shut up all the non-believers of the systems capabilities!

Lol dude why is everything so cheap in America! For instance, going to the movie. In holland you pay $10 for a ticket, and for some big bucket of popcorn another $8. Another example: games, in Holland you pay a standard price of $70/$75 for games. Ipods, like $120 dollars more expensive here than in America. And houses, damnnnn I'm not even going to start about that one.
So stop whining :p

It's not midway publishing the game it's micrsoft so it's considered first party which means it should be 49.99. CE 59.99

i have heard probably 10-12 people ask if there will be a CE edition. the answer is YES!! if you go to EBgames or gamestop they'll have it right underneath the normal version.. just so you know Power Stripe.:D
