webadmin map switch

just got my first server.

i got a linux server with webadmin enabled.. everything works fine..
though in webadmin i cannot change any maps.. the gametype/maps comboboxes are empty and if i try to add maps to a list and save it it doesn't do squad..
anyone know what to do.. should i edit the ini file or somthing?

mapvoting is enabled and 'use maplists' is checked? hm...

just worth a try: generate a new .ini (http://www.unrealadmin.org/modules.php?name=INI_Generator&func=ut2004) - save your old one before and replace it with the new one...

this is a problem i've seen with linux servers...don't run one but in know it has been discussed here... search 'linux webadmin cacherecord' in this section..i think you'll find your answer

Yup, the game was released with a faulty (for Linux) cacherecords.ucl file.
There's a correct one available at http://www.unrealadmin.org

once you got a good one, the 3204 patch for linux fixes the corruption problem. If you don't want to apply the patch for some reason, just make the file write protected.
