finaly its out! stayed up late last nite to get it, but i went to bed b4 you put it up. this looks like the most awesome mod ever. CANNOT WAIT TO TRY!! bad thing is most of your download sites are register only, something i do not feel like doing right now. i am currently getting it from jolt.co.uk itll be here in a half an hour. BEST MOD EVER... that i have not played yet

Very good gameplay for ctf. The obj are fun too, and the flying level is most buggy. Overall it is still fun. It seems as if it needs to be optimised, very laggy in some areas.

but now i cant play any other mods!
it says connection failed
so i try flushing cache...nadda
i load the game i want, directly....zilch
i think its a problem within the game
can you fix this quick cus i dont want to delete troopers but i still want to play on the interenet with other mods.

the reason i think it is this game
is because every game gets: connection failed

Been eyeballin the screenshots, but I have few details on what the game is itself.

Ill be really disappointed if its just a DM thing.

The Troopers ships fly WAAAAY better then the mothership ones.

Im not good flyer like you and just so Different about after play AS-Mother ship's flying so I was blowup many time at Exit :(

We offer TDM, CTF, and OBJ game types. We have yet to work on a storymode though we would like to do so.

The space combat is awesome. I didn't have so much fun with any sort of flight sim since X-Wing vs. Tie-Fighter. :tup:

This is a freakin fun mod. I didn't have chance to try it out up until now because of all the other ones that came out but now I regret not doing so. The space combat is awesome and the on foot stuff is equally as fun. Good stuff :up:

Yea we have a couple of bugs that are being fixed up now.

Wow.. this mod is by far the one that most impressed me.

-Great menu.. has a completely different feel to it, with it's own style. Smartly put together.
-Awesome laser hit effects. The sparks and glowing impact make it feel very star-warsy :P
-Cool weapons, although many feel the same to me.
-The player models are ok, maybe could use some different type of troopers. And who says u have to follow the star wars appearance completely? Try making your own, brand new models (that could maybe be a bit beefier)
The player animations need work too.
-The ragdoll physics are sometimes sporatically funny. Like I'll shoot some guy and he'll flail his limbs outwards and do 2 spins. This looks especially wierd when the troopers do it :P
Also, bodies tend to fall right through the map a lot.
-Maps... hmm. I like the Endor and umm.. desert planet one :confused: <--- not a big enuf star wars fan
Some maps r sort of ugly and boxy though. The texture work needs improvement, plus u could throw in a bunch more custom SMs.
-Sounds are great, authentic to star wars. Great voice acting:up:

Guess that's about it, or as much as I can think of right now at least.

This mod ROCKS!
I just played it and its the best thing ever.
I do notice some bugs, though.
I found 2 holes in the map of the desert planet.




And, i do agree about the funky karma.
Once, i was playing as rebel, and i got shot and killed, and my karma body went to a stance like he was doing 1 handed pushups while shaking.

EDIT: And, there should be a tutorial map in-game for new users. On my first time playing, I got -800 score in 10 minutes.

Help! I tried to launch Troopers with LauncherMod4UT (a mac utility that launches mods), and it says "Failed to enter TNvidiaLogo.ut2: Can't find file for package 'TTroopersIntro'"

out of curiosity, will there be another patch a week brfore the Phase 4 deadline as happened with Phase 3?

it would be a shame to re-download the latest versions of all these mods only to have a patch appear a fortnight later that breaks compatibility with them.

First off, great mod. It's got me wanting to buy SW: Battlefront now :haha: . My only real complaints: 1. Could you maybe have the zoom sights bob a little bit less? I know they bob for the sake of balancing so everyone doesn't just snipe, but a little less bobbing shouldn't hurt. 2. Is there any way I could import other models for this mod? I tried adding Evil's Yoda model but it didn't show up on the list afterward.

Yes, Our bots, though not the best, know how to play and how to do the objectives if they are on an objective map, and can capture the flag, and play TDM well enough.
