exactly what I was thinkin' the last time... there are so many HQ maps out there... would be nice to see them in a 'bonuspack' one day - otherwise they'll never get played

don't worry ;)

i don't have the impression that the lighting takes that much influence on gameplay here.. nor did my beta-testers ;)

It looks nice, even though I admit it somehow fails to impress me...

I hate to spoil so good looking maps with posting bugs from it... Collision on the ramps ain't perfect. But I dig the lights! That hanging, moving lamp producing moving lights...  The teleporter is the BEST teleporter I've ever seen. (Except for the original dawn, which was more quicksilverlike. :p )

Woops!
I'm sorry.. during beta testing i didnt notice this little mistake - and I hope nobody cares :) (I had not thought at all that somebody would walk on that small sideway..)
Thanks for examining my map so precisely!

btw: wow, i had not expected to meet people here who know my old map DM-1on1-Dawn :)

That's why you should betatest your maps by others, not by you. (was this the case, right?) This forum is the right place for it! ;)

Well, I have no excuses. I sometimes DO browse unrealed.de. :bulb: Taking that knight out was a good decision. And the new lighting is wicked!.

:p :p

Err :D

I took some other people than me for betatesting :)
But what's so bad about such a little bug? Remeber Alpu 3, where you can walk through every door frame contruction, but nobody cared ^^

btw: do you mean 'wicked' in a bad or a good way? :D

Actually I wouldn't care too much either, but reading CliffyB's posts on collision-bugs and seeing that almost nothing goes ownage nowadays, made me more aware of this little things when I test/play a map. :noob:

Of course in a good way! That swinging lamp rocks! It reminded me on the Unreal Engine 3 techdemo.

excellent, I just played this map, I enjoyed it alot. I like the layout, its really simple, spacious but good. I also loved the moving lamp effect, nj on that. I dont think its an overly impressive map but I really do like it, its a solid map. worthy of my hard drive space :) btw only critiques really is I would have liked it if collision was smoother, I found some places that were easy to get stuck in. And vines in the center area was a little much. not very noticeable when fighting tho so no problem ;) i give it ownage.

Really like this cryptic-styled map with custom textures, layout, lighting and gameplay. I'm impressed with the torches, moving lamp effects, two water teleporters, arches, banners, vines, woods, grasses and a tree. Bots are good as always.
