Description: Deck17 converted to Deck16
Comments: Changes from DM-Deck17
- Removed the 6 health vial where the Ripper is in UT99 and put a Grenade launcher and ammo
- Rearranged some crates down where the lifts are and added another rocket ammo
- Rearranged the 3 crates where the shock rifle is where the damage amp is
- Added Jumpboot
- Added 4 health vials where the super armor is
- Removed 5 spawn locations now theres 18
- Added 4 sniper ammo pickups up at the very top where it is located each ammo pickup give 5 ammo only
- Added 3 adrenaline pills across from the 2 health packs where the stack of 12 crates are
- Removed 1 Assult Rifle ammo pickup
- Made the very bottem bio pool bigger and removed the jump pad.
- Removed the Offical Flags now can be put on servers
- Added some more bot paths for better movement
- Some texture changes to the walls, all the crates, etc
there maybe more i just cant remeber

Nice dude, u done a nice job. But I just crashed out whilst playing a bot on the map. Error mentioned Jump Boots but I didnt actually use em, maybe the bot did.
*Edit* Ok sorry seems it was a one off crash. I dont get crashes very often in game so I immedietly assumed something was wrong as it the error referred to the Jump Boots. Soz dude! Gj on map :}

strange, did u get the error while playin 1on1 or with alot of bots. every1 i know who played the map havnt had a problem like that from the jump boots. I havnt gotten an error from them either. :confused:

Which version of the boots did you use?
There is one version of the boots that will crash out when the bot tries to make the 3rd jump with the boots. It doesn't happen when human players use them.

Before I dl it, just a question:
Did you close the hallway behind the FlakCannon to the new BioRifle room so that the map has the original Deck16][ layout?

yes that hallway is gone.
for the people getting the error download this 1 and see if u get it still i used the new ut2004 jump boots. its stange people r now gettin the error maybe a unpatched ut2004 can cause it

Keep trying to make the bots pick up the boots but it hasn't happened yet lol :) I'll keep testing

Yet another remake of a remake of a remake of a remake :P
What can I say? Same lame architecture as Deck17 retail, same nice gameplay like deck17, it is better for it, if you delete the jumpboots (?)..., then you can control the whole map while standing in the romm with the lifts.
But all in all, build something own special :/

I only criticize his work, and unfortunaltely there is not much own work in here :/ Shall I say, that the map is great? O_o
Improving this map is difficult, add something new in a remake without destroying the gameplay is not easy. But , dont you think, there are enough deck versions downloadable? :/

If u add LG instead off sniper and maybe delete top 50a and put 4 vials there(as in teddys version?) its a winner :D

Nice map, but the grenade launcher ruins it for me.
Any changes for a version without the grenade launcher and a Lg instead of the sniper rifle?

cause alot of people agree with that i have changed it back to 6 vial and switched all snipers to lightning guns. This will be my last edit to the map and all errors should be fixed from the boots

Description: A modification of the UT2004 map Deck 17 into Deck 16 from UT.
Changes From DM-Deck17:
- All lava pools are now bio pools
- Removed the hallway from the the flakcannon to the shockrifle
- Made the very bottem bio pool bigger and removed the jump pad
- Rearranged some crates down where the lifts are and added another rocket ammo
- Rearranged the 3 crates where the shock rifle is where the damage amp is
- Added Jumpboots
- Added 4 health vials where the super armor is
- Removed 5 spawn locations now theres 18
- Added 4 sniper ammo pickups up at the very top where it is located each ammo pickup give 5 ammo only
- Added 3 adrenaline pills across from the 2 health packs where the stack of 12 crates are
- Removed 1 Assult Rifle ammo pickup and moved their position
- Removed the Offical Flags now can be put on servers
- Added some more bot paths for better movement only around the bio pool at the bottem
- Some texture changes to the walls, all the crates, etc
- Moved the minigun pickup toward the wall
Place the "DM-Deck16][2k4.ut2" file into "UT2004\Maps" directory.
I will try and submit the map to fasterfiles and UT2004HQ today.

Thanks for making these changes.
If you upload it to another host you should probably change the name, because if you release a map two times with the same name, it can cause conflicts with the redirection. Or contact UTHQ to change the map name. On the gameserver.net redirection (probably the biggest redirection server for 2k4) is already the old version so I can´t redirect the new version now :(. I might contact gameserver.net to delete the old version, so we could upload the compressed file of the new version, but that would cause trouble for people who like the old version.
Edit- I uploaded it under the name DM-Deck16]2k4[ on gamserver.net
