Description: Fast and deadly, this heavily armed strike machine is well equipped for high-speed stinging assaults. Armed with plasma cannons, guided missiles and your choice of a chargebeam-or-minigun-equipped turret, you don't want to be on the business end of the NodeRunner.

This is the final version of the NodeRunner, with a brand-new, configurable Mutator (courtesy of Big Cheese) and a new "dead" mesh for when the NR gets killed. The mutator allows you to choose (1) which NR you want to use (minigun-equipped, or chargebeam-equipped), (2) if you want the weaker, more balanced weapons or the overpowered Beta 3.1 weapons, and (3) which vehicle you want to replace with the NR.

Got me there... I thought that was a standard UEd feature...
I'm sure you can figure it out by visiting UnrealWiki or some other resource site.

reminds me of the speeder bike from star wars, was it based on this?
the vehicle looks good, good have done with rough-ing up a bit few dents, scratches etc.

Not really - although I can see where people get the resemblence. I wanted to create a vehicle that had high speed and powerful weapons, so I started sketching and it ended up like this.
I think it's the long cannon barrels that do it. :)

The kill messages still reference the Manta and the Raptor... are you sure you wish to leave the vehicle at final with this small, tiny, little niggling detail? A little unpolishedness to what is otherwise a very polished mod.

You can go to FielPlanet and download a program called UMod Wizard to create UMods.

I got it working with UT2Vote42 just fine. Here is what you need to do....
Don't put anything in the readme in your UT2004.ini file if you want UT2Vote to do all the work.
UT2Vote42.ini add...
Mutator=(FriendlyName="NodeRunner Final105",HideVote=False,MutClassName="NodeRunnerFinal105.NRmut",Voted=False)
Packages=(MutClassName="NodeRunnerFinal105.NRmut",ServerPackages="NodeRunnerFinal105,ONSNodeRunnerDead,ONSNodeRunner ,NodeRunnerTex")
In your UT2004.ini add at the end...
[NodeRunnerFinal105.NRmut]
ReplaceWithThis=Class'NodeRunnerFinal105.ONSNodeRu nner'
ReplaceWhat=Class'Onslaught.ONSHoverBike'
UseCharge=False
UseHighPower=False
To get the above code for your UT2004.ini I first hosted my own Instant Action server at home and pulled the added code from my UT2004.ini and put it in my dedicated servers ini.
Ofcourse change what you want in the UT2004.ini to suit your needs.
List of vehicles that the NR supports for ONS...
Onslaught.ONSAttackCraft <= Raptor
Onslaught.ONSHoverBike <= Manta
Onslaught.ONSHoverTank <=Goliath
Onslaught.ONSPRV <=Hellbender
Onslaught.ONSRV <= Scorpion
It also supports the Ion Tank and Leviathan, but I didn't get the names for them.
Use the above names to configure your mutator. Defaulty I used the NR to replace the Manta.
And UseCharge is the Chargebeam Turret type of NR. If set to False it uses the Minigun.
I could of added more, but I hope you get the picutre. ;)

i have seen this work in AirPowerIII but for some reason i cant get it to work... Anyone know why??? i can post more info, but for some reason if i select lets say the goliath for replacement, it accepts it in the web admin, so i click restart the map, & the NR wont show up. i get the goliath. but if i switch off APverIII it works fine. everything is instaled correctly i know. & all the files are on my redirect, along with all of the server packages & this added to my server ini file at the bottom but i still get nothing:
