I already had a go but I have no past experience in any modelling or textures. Coding was quite easy though, you just copy over the code from one of the other vehicles and edit the values to get things like the lights in the correct place and the movement how you want. I sort of gave up but I got it flying. You can extract the model for use in 3DS Max with the package reader but the tutorials on the SE DVD were for Maya.
I got it as far as flying and tweaked the physics to make it more "heavy" but I didn't know what to do with the texture, could only get the first one to apply and not the windows and the collision was messed up.
Here's a screen:

I could but it wouldn't take anyone too long to get that far themselves, plus what I've got is a bit confusing even to myself so it would probably best to start from scratch if you wanna sort out the textures.
Just get the Unreal Package Reader (http://www.acordero.org/projects/utpt/) open up Desp-Fallencity and extract the model of the dropship as a 3DS file. You can then import it into 3DS Max. Then its up to you, you'll probably want to add some bones and move it around so it faces the right way.
For the code, just download the UT2004 Source Code (http://download.com.com/3000-7453_4-10285176.html) and then take the ONS-Attackcraft code and edit it to fit your vehicle and replace the name of the Raptor model with your model. After that it is just tweaking but my lack of texturing and modelling knowledge sort of ran me into a brick wall.

Ive thought about doing something like this for practice, along with some of the stuff in convoy.
Does that package reader keep the uv texture cords?

yeah, as long as you don't try making new ones in 3DSmax

I got the textures to apply fine in 3DS Max but once it was in Unreal I just couldn't get the 2nd one to apply. As for zipping it, if you have no skills it won't be much use to you and you'll need a bit of skill just to get it in the game plus it really isn't too hot with it just flying around like a big heavy raptor with bad collision :P
Someone else should definately give it a go though.

Cool :)
Ive been wanting to try making the bulldog proper, but exporting it outta ued doesnt keep the uv's (i dont think anyway).
Plus there is those hoverbikes, and the bomber (not the ons one peeps keep doing, the one from convoy ;)).
