Marcus' Love?

Hahah heres an interesting question... anyone think Marcus had or has a girlfriend? Hes almost like a brute character but i never heard anything of a love. And since Cliffy said he wanted to work on a 'romance' type game... I thought maybe Marcus had or has a romantic experience during or in the past of the game.

What does anyone think?

yeah dom has the tattoo of a womens name on his arm, i heard it was his wife's name, but i dont think Marcus has any women, b/c i think Dom is a part of the love story and the tattoo, btw Anya is the Communications person form COG headquarters, she is like kortana from halo.......she is not marcus' lover, lol although it would get pretty interseting

If romance was added to Gears of War, it would change the whole feel of the game, especially if it were a major part of the plot. The loss of Fenix's father, is good enough of a drive, and plays more of a role than we think.

Just a hunch, but that wide-eyed look Marcus gives Anya when he gets off the Raven at the beginning is probably alluding to some future story development. They didn't animate such a genuine reaction for nothing.

I, for one, can't wait until the COG Comm Tower is under Locust seige and Marcus and Dom are off to the resuce (against Hoffman's orders, of course.)

^ You've got a point, but if you forget, they had Marcus give Dom a funny look when he and Cole were talking about how Cole always throws up on the King Ravens.

It is possible that Marcus and Dom are like Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger, Brokeback style, but it is highly unlikely.
