atari forums mailer

so,i get my 3 points warning,and i did bad,and wont do it again.but the mailer thingies sends 2 notices per response to any thread i am involved with.and i had 2 pm's,and was never notified.would some one please ,gently slap the forums mailer thingie so it is working right?serioulsy,i dont know where to post to address this,it is kinda adding a ton of ,well,spam e mails to my 'puter.LOL bad karma here i think.i am getting double notifications for a single post that has been replied to.short of bailing out of watching any threads,what can i do?TIA for any useful help:)

User CP -> Edit Options -> Use 'Email Notification' by default? -> Pick "No" -> Thank me.

:bulb: I turned the notification thingy off, but still get emails from threads i'm supposedly subscribed to, then I look in my user CP and I am subscribed to them, but I never clicked 'subscribe to this thread' :bulb:

I think you get a notification e-mail every time someone replies to your threadn In other words if you post a reply then 5 other people post after you then you will get 5 e-mails.:bulb:

I just use a sep email account. Last time I checked it had somewhere in the region of 4000 emails. I better go deleate them :sulk:
