Alot of you have told me my ambitions are to high, and I agree now that I look at the bigger picture. I have a list of the projects that I WILL do here,in due time. Now...I would like to humbly ask for webspace on a site...just enough to post news and a few pictures, not any downloads. In exchange for this I will help with any thing you need...scavenging for information, helping with anything I can. I would also like to do this for another reason...to gain knowledge...if theyre any companies (non profit) that could take me on as an apprentice or intern, I am here, and I am waiting.

My Ideas:
1. "Front Mission" full conversion mod for Ut2k4
2. "Animayhem" full conversion mod for Ut2k4
3. "Virus from TS2" Game Type for Ut2k4
4. "Silverius" My original character for Ut2k4
5. "Shadow-RX motorcycle" Vehicle for Ut2k4

My current skills:
1. Access to many programs needed for developing
2. beginner mapping skills
3. no 3D moddeling skills
4. no skinning skills
5. no coding skills

this is why I want to learn from pros, or semi pros, if you have any positions available, or the time to teach a newb\beginner please reply to this post, pm me, or email me at hardyboy75@hotmail.com I realize there is an entire forum devoted solely to development questions and tutorials, but scrounging through those tuts was mind boggling to say the least, and I dont have the SE edition of UT2k4. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to listen to my pleas.

your ideas are cool!
UT2X (http://www.patchgonebad.com/) will go live on may 1st. we are also a new website, so we could definately use the help. you can ask the administrator (PGB-Crackho) on the forum (although you have to register first)for more information. also if you would like to join our clan (PGB), you have to contact him. i think his screen name on 'this' forum is atarifan. im not sure but you can always check. good luck:up:

You should really figure out where you want to start. As it looks, you probly wont need much for mapping skills as most of what you have in store is custom content. However, you will need to know how to code them.

Try reading the 3ds Max tutorials (or whatever prog your using) they start out easy, and you can learn tons from them. Then if you have Q's. Fire away. There are many people here who know what they are doing.
