Whats the story behind Xan?

That robot guy, whats his background story? Sorry, never really got into the whole UT universe, played the games though.

I wanted to know where he was from, why he is supposedly invincible, all the fluff, etc :D.

Yeah b/c Unreal doesn't have the best writers for plot...but when a flak cannon is in your face I guess that just doesnt really matter in the grand scheme of things. :)

Xan is the first and official champion of the tournament.No one really knows alot about him but hes a ****ing beast.After malcom beat him he went back for "improvements" but lost to malcom again in ut2k4 but he did cut malcoms dick off so it sux to be malcom.

I think he also lost lefty and righty, because he gets all emotional on the last single player level once you get two kills.

hes part of the mayrid of mediocre things that make unreal.. unreal

other things of note are the skarrj, the obsession with having 2 fire modes on every single weapon, the average dm maps, giving players 100% ammo on the majority of weapon pickups... the rocket launcher not being anywhere near as cool as it is in other games...etc

Actually, if you read the timeline, he is one of the robots that lead the revolt that the assult map (robot one) recreates. Liandri whiped his memory and turned him into a killing machine. Then he went on to win first few tourney's but then lost to malcome bing bang boom thats it.

I think he''s a cyborg, not robot. There's separate cyborgs and robots sections, and Xan's in the cyborg section. Axon, another one that looks a lot like him, is said in the profile that he was the first Liandri warrior to be outfitted with the MK3-blah-blah battle armor, made famous by Xan Kriegor.


So I guess he was once human, but got all sorts of cybernetic enhancements.

And I think it was actually mentioned somewhere in UT99, whether in the game or in the manual, that Xan's suspected to be the leader of Liandri.

As they say, "You can't beat the House." ;)

Annoucer: Participant 1, Brock!

Crowd: Yaayy!! *cheer*

Announcer: Participant 2, Romulus!!

Crowd: Yaayy!! *cheer*

*Fangirl 1 and 2 engage in mudwrestly which eventually becomes hot, steamy lesbian sex*
