[The Evil Hat]

since we all loved snakes fran fiction i decided to write one. it has some enimies that are not in the game at least not yet. sorry about the grammar and editing i know it sucks.;)


Part 1


The laser illuminated the enimies position in a erie light. the jet came in fast and luanched its explosive payload. the debris flew high and hid the position from veiw for a few seconds. Rico signaled his squad to move. they ran to behind a low wall. Rico signaled again and smoke grenades were luanched. his heavy gunners opened fire trying to supress the enemy. he signaled to Dan. Dan was his freind and his partner for this part of the mission. thgey sprinted forward as the smoke covered the feild. he dove behind a burned out car while Dan went behind a pile of debris. they opened fire and Rico heard the crack of Mike's sniper rifle. they were almost there! they were only a few blocks from the town square where the imulsion had been found.


He heard a giant BOOM. what the hell could that be he thought they had nothing bigger than a rocket luancher and that was huge. had the jet come back? then the ground started to crack. what the hell is going on he thought. then he heard something like a roar. this was nuts. did the eneimey have some kind of superweapon? then creatures came out of the ground. they were sort of like humans but bigger with greyish skin. they had some kind of guns and were firing. he heard a scream, they were killing his men. now he was mad. he opened fire. they were tough but bullets took them down after a few.

Dan was shocked to see these things come out of the ground but then he heard a huge boom. he spun and saw a gigantic snake like creature with huge bulging eyes and grey scaley skin. it had a gaping mouth but with no teeth. it abruptly thrust out with its tail and caught him in the chest knocking him down. he screamed as creature slithered towrd him. it grabed him by twisting around him. and then it began to squeze him. it was like an anocanda. he heard a snap and realized a bone was broken. he was a bout to fire his gun when he rtealized that the trigger was backwards. damn it had gotten spun around when the thing grabbed him and was now pushing into his gut. black spots danced in front of his eyes and his screams went unheard in the firefight.

Rico saw the giant snake grab Dan and opened fire. the snake curled up into a ball and rolled out of the stream of bullets.

Dan thought the snake moved but he coudnt tell suddenly he was upside down and his finger was pulled off the trigger and onto something else what? then he realized it and that is when he really screamed oh god no he thought the chainsaw started up. as the creature squeezed harder and the chainsaw dug into his gut. as the creature squeezed harder the chainsaw dug deeper into him. in seconds the creature threw his lifeless body asode and headed for someone else.

Rico saw Dans lifeless body and opened fire on the creature as he ran forward. this was a bad idea. the snake turned saw him and grabbed him. but he suceeded where Dan had falled and managed to keep his gun straight. he squeezed the trigger and watched bullets blow through the snake's tail. the snake released him and roared in agony. he empied the entire magazine into its face as it reared up. only too late he realized his mistake and began to sprint away. he almost made it but the snake's head landed on his anknle. the imense weight threw him to the ground. he tried to move and swa his ankle was clearly broken. he managed to push the creature off him and stood up. the pain drove him back to the ground.

he was not going to get far. he saw a jeep but it was the enimies. whatever he decided i might as well surrender i wont exactly live otherwise. he crawled towrds the jeep. the people inside pulled him in. one of them started to protest. "we should get out of here not rescue the people shooting at us". but the Other man had made up his mind "shut up we are all in this toghther". they started back across the square to get to the enimies fortifications. but they found another one of the snake type things blocking the way. Ricpo had an idea other way back to my base it is more fortified as hge said this a bullet struck his old enimies fuel supply and the base blew sky high.

"now he is trying to capture us one of thre men" said "are you really that gullible"? The man who pulled Rico in was mad "just shut up already its our onbly chance"! "my names Tony."

the drive was hell they were shooting from the car trying to kill the creatures. finnally they arrived. people swarmed them with questions like "what happened" whats going on" "why are they here" and things like that. when Rico jumped out he landed on his bad ankle it buckled he fell and everything went black.

Thanks for the feedback working on the next section now. just a question though what do you mean? the snakes were not really meant as vechiles just fighters that kill humans. and i think there is jeeps in the game because why would the serans not use vechiles? please explain because i really dont want to keep making the same mistake and relly am curios as to what you mean.

Locusts never use normal vehicles. They only use the living creatures, because it makes them seem more primal.

Oh thank you that was a lot more unclear than i thought. i meant it was who he was fighting in the begginings jeep and they let him in because they thought the locusts were a much bigger threat. sorry it was so unclear.:cool: oh and why would you have a goat on a battle feild?

That really didn't make sense to me. Why would u rescue someone who is shooting at you. And also.... why are u fighting other Serans, I thought the locust were the only enemy. Pretty good story besides that and the jeep stuff.

The imulsion wars happened before the locusts came and serans were fighting other serans. the "why would you rescue someone shooting at you" part is the other serans he was fighting before recognized that the locusts were a bigger threat and so were going to fight them together. you never actually fight the other serans ijn the game but that is the backstory. if you want the whole thing you will have to read it somewhere else.

I understand now. But I personally wouldn't help people shootin' at me even if we were in the same boat. But I do see your point. If something like emergence day happened during the American civil war I'm sure the north and south would forget their differences and come together.

Part 2:D

2 days later

The remains of Rico's squad as well as 9 of there old foes were ducking in a shed. Rico's ankle had been straightened by the medic but it still hurt like hell when he walked. the medic had told him not to but he could not just sit there while his men fought the locusts. Rico was the 3rd highest ranking member of either side left. the commander was speaking "we have are taking bad casualties partly because we are seperate there is three or four independant groups of soldeirs just fighting alone and with the different radios we cannot unite." the two sides had different issue radios and could not transmit oneach others frequencys. "we need to cspture the old radio tower. the techs say that they could hotwire it to be able to transmit on both frequencies but it would then burn out. we will fight our way there and use it to unite our forces into one definsive position. "

Rico was not happy with the plan they would have to fight there way through three blocks of locusts territory. although with the locusts ability to pop up anywhere they really controlled the city. they would alspo have to go in the day because the bat like creatures devoured anyone withiut light in the night. still maybe they could get in there they would have so many more men to fight with and maybe they could beat the locusts.

Rico's men were moving forward it was the next day and the building would prove a great vantage point. they would hold it while Tony's men went through the street to the next building. Rico kicked through the window with his good leg and saw the shards of glass scatter across the once nice carpet. he made his way over to the window overlooking the street. they fired down on the locusts on the street earning them a massive amount of return fire. Mike shot one of the bigger locusts in the head. the gunners placed their guns on the window sill and opened fire. Rico threw a grenade and saw to his satisfaction two locusts be blown apart.

Tony's men threw up a smoke screen in the street and then rushed in. the few remaining locusts were kille din seconds. they made there way down to the next building but inside there was a huge locust it pinned Tony against the wall and leveled its gun. before it coiuld shoot Mike hit it in the back of the head. Tony shoved its mangled remaints off of him and took up position in the window signaling Rico's men to move down the street. Rico moved down the street with the 4 survivors of his squad. they reached the next building and gave the signal.

Tony and his men rushed down the street. Rico abruptly saw it too late an anocanda type thing again. it was a upon Tony's men before he could warn them and threw them to the floor as it moved between them towrds Tony. Tony dove backwards and threw a grenade. the snake rolled over it as it blew. the snake was a bloody mess. they moved on and in minutes where ina building overlooking the actual tower. they opened fire at the two locusts near the entrances dropping them then the other locusts in the windows opened fire chipping the window sill with the furios barrage. Tony stood and threw a grenade it hit the connector between the balcony the main force of locusts was on and the tower. the balcony fell and smashed into the ground pulvirizing it and the locusts inside.

Rico decioded that they would leave Mike outside to shoot through the windows at locusts coming up to them. they also left someone in toiny's squad to cover Mike if the locusts came for them.

Part 3

Tony kicked opon the door and they rushed inside spreading out to ocupy the whole room. they moved down the hallway and tried the door to the lobby. it was not locked. Rico opened it while someone primed a grenade when the door was open the grenade was thrown and they opneed fire killing two locusts before they even knew what was going on. the rest were killed before they could fire back.

Rico led them to the stairs they started up. they reached a large open room with with two dead civillians in it.there was no light. He turned on his flashlight and led the way in wincing every time his weight was on his broken ankle. when the beam fell on the wall he gasped. the walls were coveered in the bat like creatures! this was were they waited in the day and slept. they shreaked as the light fell across them. the someone moved forward and shot at them.

the sound of the bullet awakened the creatures and they flew right at them. 6 bit and clawed that mans face as another groupo ripped up others. the soldeirs began to fire back killing dozens of the bats. as another man fell to the bats Rico had an idea. he detonated a flash-bang grenade. the light was blinding the noise deafening and the humans staggered around blinded for a few seconds but the bats were now schreeching in absoultute agony some on the floor others still in the air. they opened fire and killed dozens until the rest recovered and fled. to where Rico did not know or care. he checked the wounded most of them had there faces and any other exposed skin ripped to shrds and where clearly dead. only one man still lived he had a huge gash in his cheek and another on his forehead. he was pale from bloodloss. Rico sent him back to where Mike was.

They had reached the third floor when they met beetle type things. they would shreek and shatter lightbulbs. Rico preyed the Bats did not come back he was out of flaash-bangs and his flashlight was now useless. they just shot them however. when they reached the elevator Mike's voice came over there headsets, "dont go in the elevator there are 4 locusts in there. i can destroy it by shooting the cable but then you will need to climb the shaft. or we can just fight them and i can provide covering fire." Rico asked, "can you find out if there is anything in the actual shaft?" "affirmative there is about 10 bat type things in there. if you have aflashlight you could probably make it do you have one?" Mike answered.

"No they are all busted we will have to take the elevator over." start shooting." then to his squad and Tony's "no grenades we need the elevatyor. when it opens start shooting. open the door in 3, 2, 1 NOW!" the door was smashed open as they heard the crack of Mike's sniper rifle. they opened fire killing three of the locusts Rico then activated his chainsaw and lunged into the room plunging it itno the first ones chest. the locust although it was dying managed to slam him in the chest and send him sprawling his gun clattered to the floor. A shotgun hit the locust in the chest and finnally it went down. Rico drew his pistol and rose firing into the other locusts face from inches away the spray of blood confirmed the locusts death. they piled into the car sized elevator and hit the up button. Rico then picked his gun off the floor and deactivated the bloody chainsaw.

at the next floor six of the beetle like creatures rushed forward. they were all shot in seconds. they began to move across the hallway as many nmore apeared and were simmalerly mowed down. then about thirty apaered **** thought Rico. they started to fire bu the creatures were soon too close. Shotguns began to blast the creatrures apart. Rico having given his shotgun to someone else who was out of Lancer ammo revved up his chainsaw. he lunged into them plunging it through beetle after beetle. then a much bigger one apeared. it was the size of someones leg and was scaley. everyone wo still ahd an assult rifle out opened fitre on it only to watch in horror as the bullets bounced off its shell.

Rico lunged at it and brought the chainsaw down on it witrh all of his might. to his disbeleif the chainsaw glanced off and the creature bit his boot easly penatrating the armour and drawing blood from his foot. Rico dove past it but landed opn his bad ankle and fell the creature crawled up onto his chest and went towrds his neck. he tried to throw it off but found it suprisingly heavy. the otheres had stopped shooting at it for fear of hitting Rico.

Mike was staring threw the window and saw what happened. he knew his freind was dead if he didnt try so he leveled his crosshair at the creatures middle. praying that he did not hit Rico he fired. the bullet punched through the glass spraying shards of glass everywhere and hit the creature dead on but did not kill it. however the imense force of the sniper bullet flipped the creature off Rico and onto its back. Rico got up and saw the giant beetle waving its small legs franticly trying to get up. Rico drove the chsinsaw dowen into its unprotected stomach and saw the creature stop moving and lay still.

They blasted open the door to the radio room and rushed in. The locusts in there where killed by massed fire. they rushed in and the 2 techs rushed forward to the pannel and slipped in tnhe disk withbthe new program to get a nasty suprise. the locusts had ripped up some wires. Tony saked "is it fixable? plaese dont tell me we came here for nothing." "its fixable" said one of the techs, " but it will take some time"

they spread out into definsive positions and waited. Rico commed Mike "thanks for saving my life. do you have a way to see into the room?" "yeah i can" said Mike. They waited abruptly the doorway was filled with locusts who rushed in shooting. the defenders sen tout a barrgae of bullets that killed the first few in to the room. one man foolishly stood up and was repeatedly shot in the chest and fell back down a bloody corpse. Rico threw a grenade and saw it land in the doorwy. when it blew it brought down the doorway leaving it a piule of rubble. but the locusts kept coming scrambling over the debris. at leats now they were easy pickings. a mass of beetles came crawling over as another grenade blew sending parts of beetles all across the area.

Tony rolled to behind nother table and opened fire fromt there. "almost done" he yelled to the techs. "yeah we just need to.." a bullet hit the tech in the jaw and left him crumpled on the floor. the other tech screamed but continued. a few minutes later hew called out "got it!" he bent over it. and began to change the frequency. the locusts tryed one final push and were mostly killed at the door. only one madse it in and reached tony. he shoved Tony upo against the wall and drew out a nasty looking dagger. tony franticly kicked him and knocked the dagger out of his hand. the locust punched him in the nose breaking it and then leaned down to snap his neck. as he did this Tony drew his pistol and shot the locust in the face with the full clip.

The tech leaned down and was about to change the channel when he heard a voice "Jacinto... no locusts... rally... defend and then just static," what the hell the tech thought he tryed to hear more but just heard static. he changed the channel and began to speak, "meet on High street bring all vechiles and equipment remember..." but his listining to the message had cost him dearly as the radio died right then. **** he thought. he yelled the news to Tony and Rico woundering what Jacinto meant. when he did not get a response he looked and saw they had much bigger problems to worry about.

strangely enough i agree completly. i am bad with names and did not think of any good ones. so if anyone has any ideas for names please post them. when i type the next part tommaorow i will check what everyone suggested and if ther is anybody i like i will use them in the next part. also there will probably be locust vechiles in the next part. glad you guys liked it. :D
P.S. how do you qoute two things in one post or quote part of something then write then quote another part?:confused:

After multiple delays heres part 4. I worked on the spelling a little more this time but yeah i know it still really sucks.

Mike's voice came in over Rico's com right before six different Locusts blasted holes from the hallway into thier room and placed heavy machine guns there. the guns opened up and everyone dove for cover. Over the roar of the guns Mike's voice was drowned out. Someone was hit Rico heard thier screams over the bullets. He screamed into the comm "louder", at the top of his voice. Mike yelled back, "15 Locusts in the hallway and 20 more in the elevator, more waiting to use it. I can blow the cable killing them but you would have to climb the shaft." Rico asked, "are the bats still in the shaft?" "yeah like fifty now" the answer came back, "you got to choose now or i wont be able to hit the cable."

Crap Rico thought either they blew the cable and they climbed straight through the bats or they fought 30 plus Locusts. Then a plan came to mind, "whos got incendiary grenades" he called out. someone he knew all too well raised there hand it was the man who had wanted to leave him to die the night the Locusts had come. still at least someone did. "throw it there he commanded. "are you ****ing nuts the floor is wood we would end up torching the tower." was the answer. "just do it private or i will shoot you and do it myself we dont have time for you to just stand there holding it. we have to move or we will all get shot!" then to Mike, "shoot the cable."

Mike leveled his sniper and deactivated the infared it would just distract him and he fired the bullet cut clean through the cable. The elevator stopped going up seemed to just hange there for a second and then plummeted straight down to the bottom of the shaft. Mike then reactivated the infared and resumed blasting Locusts.

The incendiary grenade was thrown and a roaring flame began. Rico then threw his last grenade into the center of the flame and watched it blow a gaping hole in the floor. "Down the hole" he yelled. His plan was simple they would climb the shft with the glow of the flame to keep the bats away. however they did not want to go through the Locusts in the hallway so they simply went down a floor. from there they would climb the shaft and get out. they braved the flame sand dropped down a floor where the plan's first flaw apeared, the fire was going much faster than excpected and was already a raging inferno. They would just have to move faster.

The way to the shaft was clear of Locusts and Rico's nemises went down first. they moved down the service ladder and all was going well until they came to the floor where the Locusts reanforcmnets were waiting Tony threw a grenade and killed many of them but the sound attracted a new Locust a few floors down. it was skinnier than the otheres and held some kind of bow. The bowman shot and the arrow type thing landed between 2 rungs a few rungs down. Rico fired one handed with his pistol and killed the bowman. He yelled, "dont go near that arrow lets find out what the hell it is." Maybe just out of spite for him the point man kept going. when he passed the arrow and nothing happened two more men followed him. Then the arrow just littarily blew up. The bottom two were left groping air as the rungs they were holding on to were blown apart. the top one however was on the rung with the arrow when it blew. his stomach was blasted open and he tumbled down a truly grusome sight. Rico recovered first and hopped past the destroyed rungs. he kept going nearer to the bottom of the shaft.

Mike was lining up a haedshot on an unaware Locust when he herard steps he turned to the sidwalk with the infared scope and gasped in terror as he saw more than twenty Locusts coming at there position. Gues they found us he thought. soon they were there. The injured man who had returned from the battle with the bats said, "its hopeless run get out and save the others i would have died soon anyway. then he reached down. since he had leaft the battle early he still had three frags one smoke as well as an incendiary grenade and a flashbang he armed them all with ten second timers, and stood in the doorway. Mike asked " what the hell are youi doing?" the man answered simply taking as many of them with me as i can now go already!" Mike ran to the window kicked through the glass and jumpe dto the neighbors of the house they were in. He turned back to see the Locusts rush into the room. A large Locust who carried no weapon but had huge claws stopped and plunged its claws through the mans chest. He did not even scream as he fell backwards to the ground. The other soldier who had been with Mike ran towrds the window, but too late. a bullet caught him in the back sending him tumbling to the ground he rose as the grenades went off. the roof came down crushing Locusts as the building began to burn. then there was a secondary explosion probably the boilor and the building came crashing down.

Rico finnaly reached the bottom of the shaft. He opened the door and peeked into the lobby. He jerked his head back as more than 20 Locusts opnened fire. **** what the hell were they going to do, there were just 9 of them left they could not charge. They had to do something before more Locusts got here though or they would all just be killed but what?

Mike went to the rubble of the building and just saw dead Locusts some without arms legs or even heads. Then he heard the roar of bullets that was keeping Rico and Tony pinned down. He activated the infared scope and saw more than twenty Locusts in the lobby. He had an idea. he went to the door and opened fire on the Locusts but as well as using the sniper rifle he also shot with two Locust smgs from the rubble. he was not really trying to hit anything just to make them think there was human reanforcments. the Locusts were in confusion woundering who to attack. Mike saw the biggest one there giving orders. The Locusts were confused should they attack the humans in the building or the reanforcments? There commander told them to keep there positions. Mike shot him in the back of the head, as he fell the Locusts charged at Mike.

Mike went straight towrds the buildings drawing the Locusts with him. He had been born here and knew the town as well as anybody. He had been devastated when the enemy took it in the Pendulim wars and had been the fiirst tyo volunteer to go here. Now he was not going to let the Locusts destroy it. He purposely wove through dark alleyways towrds his old house. He was going to check if his parents were still alive. he had wanted to go since they arrived in the town but had been told that they needed him, now as long as he was keeping the Locusts away from the others he was doing his job. He went up a flight of stairs to a buliding and waited. sure enough a Locust ran down the street trying to find him he shot it in the gut and as it fell to the ground in the heart. then he left a mine he had taken off one of the men guarding him in the building and set it so that next thing to go wihten 5 feet of it would be blown apart.

He had been going maybe 1 minute before he heard the mine explode. soon he was fighting off Locusts in every alleyway. He saw a truck in the midle of the road. he sat back about a block away and waited for the Locusts when they came he fired and hit the gas tank. the truck erupted in a fire ball. he shot the surviving Locust between the eyes blowing off the back of its head. he realized he had lost them 5 minutes later when he neared the apartment where his parents had lived and had not seena locust since he blew the gas tank on the truck. He went up the stairs cautiosly. at the top he used the infared scope to see into the apartment and saw sometyhing standing there inside. he catiosly went towrds the door was it his parents, or a locust. he drew out one of the Locust machine guns he was carrying and opened the door slowly as not to alarm whatever was inside.

Mike was trained as part of sniper school to be able to take in things in the blink of an eye and then react. He saw a Locust standing there with huge claws and his families prone forms lying still covered in blood. he opned fire on the Locust. The Locust spun but Mike held down the trigger till he had shot the Locust over twenty times. he walked over to it as it lay on the floor. it was not dead yet. he pressed his gun to its face and fired the last of the clip at point black range. he then dropped the empty weapon. His family was dead he decided to take revenge on the Locusts. the army was just reatreating they wre not going to stand and fight. he would make the Locust pay for this. He left the apartment and went to go kill some Locust.

He saw a group of the Locust grunts on the street from his vantage point in the hotel window he fired and killed the first one. the rest dove for cover looking for there asailent. He shot them all in rapid sucession then moved on to find more targets.

Rico and his squad arrived at the rally point at high street and saw the fort. the commander had taken a small fort made as there last stand point incase the lost the fight for the town in the Pendulim wars. while they had been gone the commander had expanded it and surronded it with mines. they were quickly shown inside and told to take up definsive positions. Rico sat alone gun trained down the street. too many freinds had dies recently first Dan and now mike was gone. he had not been therew the building had been destroyed and he was not on the comm channel either. The technician who had been on the radio back at the tower tryed to talk to him but he waved the man away.

The technician was annoyed he went ot go find Tony. he did and told Tony about Jacinto whatever that was. Tony asked around and someone said it was a platue nearby. they looked on a map and saw it was about 50 miles away. I gues we should go there and find out whta it is he said and got up to go see the commander.

They were under attack that night not too serios they mangaed to keep the Locusts back without using too much amunition and without too many casualties.

Mike was prowling in the streets in the morning he had now killed over 50 Locusts and they were on to him trying to trap him everywhere. he had avoided there traps but was running low on ammo. he swa Locust but decided to sip past them he was hunting a big target like a supreme commander. killing the grunts wasnt doing much. he went down a side street and saw he was near main street. he abruptly heard a booming sound from that direction and decided to invistagate. he went to the door of a 4 story apartment building and realized the door was locked. he drew out his combat knife and jammed it into the lock. he whent up to the top floor and looked out the window. he saw giant cracks start to apear in the ground. what the **** was making them? Then a HUGE spider type thing crawled out of the ground and stood there. It had about 10 locusts on its back as well as two cannons strapped to its back. The strap went around it and was connected at the spiders stomach. he decided that this was the big target he needed and aimed his gun.

The bullet flew straight and true and slammed into the spiders forhead. the only problem was that all it did was ot alert the spider to his presence. It turned towrds him and he saw it had 8 eyes and a gigantic pincer the sized of a person. one of the cannons on its back opened fire and Mike rolled back out of the room. the shell from the cannon blew the room apart. he was thrown off hsi feet and fell down the stairs. he hit the bottom headfirst and evrything went black. the last thing he heard was the click of the giant pincers.

Mike awoke and opened his eyes. There was a Locust Drone coming up the stairs. He didnt want to move quickly and alert the enemt he was still alive so he did not move till it was almost on top of him. Then he rose, drew his pistol and fired twice in one motion. The bullets smashed into the Locusts face and sent it to its death.

Mike rose and picked his sniper rifle off the floor. Something dripped into his eyes and down his face. He blinked and brushed it away. His hand came away crimson. there was a gash in his forehead probably from his fall. He crept to the front door of the building and saw the giant spider still standing there together with another one with what looked like Gatling guns instead of cannons. Crap that was not going to make his escape any easier. He realized he had to alert the army they needed to know about these things this was now bigger than his own private war. He reached for the comm headset and found it smashed. "****" he muttered now he would have to go to the rezondous on High Street himself, assuming that once he got there the others would not have already left, but first he had to get past the spiders.

He needed to distract the Locusts and get past. Abruptly the idea came to him. He took one of his grenades. He doubted that they were strong enough to kill the creature so he would blow the strap holding the cannons up. He cocked the grenade and counted. when he was at three he threw the grenade. His aim was true the grenade flew next to the straps and exploded. Thje straps were destroyed and the spider was bleeding but barely. However the cannons did not fall. The gunners fired both at him. He dove out of the doorway and ran. too late the gunners realized there mistake. as the guns jerked back they went off balance and began to slide off the spider's back. They crushed the gunners and the other Locusts behind them and fell from the creature's back. one slammed harmlesly into the ground. the ohther fell onto the creatures foot. the imense weight of the gun smashed the foot and greeyish blood oozed out.

Mike ran to a basment window in the nextdoor window. The Gatling guns on the other spider opened fire but before they could hit him the wounded spider bound forward trying to grab him in its pincers. he rolled forward and it lunged after him blocking the Gatling gun's shots. He reached the window and dropped down. the spider furios at loosing its prey rammed into the wall of the house. the house shook and Mike ran towrds the back door. He found himself in a backyard and ran down a side street followed by going through another house. this continued for a while and by the end Mike was sure he had lost the Locusts.

He continued for a while and crossed a side street at the other end he saw 10 Locusts before they could react he was running. he dove the last few feet, but in mid-dive he felt something smack into his armor and he landed in a heap. her looked down to see a arrow sticking out of his armor. **** he thought the arrows were remote detonation bombs. He undid the clasps of the armor and threw it to the ground. he jumed back as it exploded. Damn now he was down to one clip for each of his weapons and no grenades. Still he wasnt dead that was sonmething. he ran on and mangaed to lose the locusts.

Soon it was Dusk. he had to find a light source before the bats got him. his flashlight was gone having been on his armor and holing up for the night was out of the question. Then he had an idea. he went into a nearby house that had been bombed. he took a stick from the ground and managed to get a flame going eventully. He carried it like a torch. the Locust would find him with it but at least then he would have a chance. as he walked he was forced to change burning pieces of wood often. soon he was merely two blocks from High Street. He was carrying a long board and almost droped the unweildly thing when he spun around having heard the revving of a chainsaw, a Locust commander had spotted him and instead of having just shot him in the back and killed him the Locust had wanted to chainsaw him. But just because he knew the Locust was there only helped a little before he could draw a pistol the Locust lunged at him meaning to impale him on the sppining saw.

Mike spun the flaming wooden board and slammed the Locust in the face with it. there was a satisfying crack and the flames burned the locusts face and eyes. It missed its target with the saw and just knicked his side. Mike pulled the board back and brought it down on the creatures head hard jabbing the burning edge into one of the Locusts eyes. The locust screamed and stopped its assult as its hands flew to its face Mike grabbed the gun but the Locust pulled back. Damn Mike had to admire its determination as one of its eyes was a bloody mess and its nose was smashed. It kicked him in the gut and as he doubled over in pain it puilled the gun from his grasp and drove the chainbsaw straight towrds his chest. he dropped to the ground and as the weapon sailed over him Mike kicked the gun and twisted it around in the creatures hands. as it spun the gun around Mike drew his combat knife and plunged it into the Locusts uninjured eye. the Locust screamed and the gun fell from its grasp. Mike twisted the knife and pushed it deeper in. the Locust stopped fighting and crumpled to the ground.

Mike saw his makshift torch was out so he did not even bother reclaiming the knife but ran on. Then there it was The old fort bigger than he remembeered and lit up. he smiled and ran towrds it finally he had made it the news would not die with him.

Crouched behind the burnt shell of an old sedan, I was hiding for my life. Around me, my teammates were being slowly eliminated one by one by COG forces. Peaking over the hood of the car, I was able to lay down just a second of suppressing fire before a COG soldier popped up and started suppressing me.

Bang. All three of my teammates are dead, and two COG soldiers are darting in and out of cover, honing in on me. I see one going for high ground and a rocket launcher. I switch to my sniper rifle and zoom in on the second story of a building a hundred feet away. Then his little human head pops into view and I put a bullet in it. Now it's me, an evil Locust foot soldier, against some other guy on the local area network, the hero of Gears of War, Marcus of the COG.

Before I can celebrate my kill and look for my last enemy, I hear the most dreaded sound in Gears multiplayer: the chainsaw. While I was busy sniping, this guy had zipped in and out of cover and circled around me. My own blood spattered about as my Locust soldier fell to the ground dead.

That was a passage from the IGN multiplayer hands-on. Awesome fan fiction, eh? After reading that, who can say this game will be bad!?!? well, aside from all the stupid I-have-no-reason-to-hate-this-game-but-I-do-it-anyways losers. that was awesome!:D

heres part 7 :D sorry i was ofline for a few days with comp problems :o . heres is the next part although with all the new fan fics on this site mine is totally outdone here it is anyway enjoy:

Rico was sore bored and pissed off he had been ducking behind the bottom of the window for over three hours his gun raised to his shoulder and jammed into his cheek there had been no locusts all day it was almost as if they had given up but he knew it was probably just the calm before the storm. where was the next guy on watch he was supposed to have arrived an hour ago but was probably screwing around while Rico was left here. The reason they were on high street was the airport was here as long as they had jets and King Ravens the Locusts were being held back. he was thinking of what he would do to whover supposedly had this shift when he saw a figure run across the feild to the fort arms empty and up yelling "dont shoot" When he was withen range of the bases lights Rico recognized him as Mike "how the **** are you here i thought you were dead"

"long story but i have to see the general now you can come" Then finnally Rico's replacment arrived looking happy as he sipped his cofee. Rico was pissed he knocked the cup out of the mans hands and told him to guard the window then he went with Mike. when they arrived at the generals office Mike told his tale and the news of the Locust giant spiders. when he was done the general spoke "what the **** gave you the idea you could run off and go check on your family and then wage your own little war on the enimie instead of staying here! you completly disobeyed orders and basically deserted normally i would trie to have you court-martialed but where a little short on men. but if you ever do something like this again i will shoot you are we clear! oh and where is you armor and ammo did you manage to loose that too? get some more from the armory and get out of my sight!" "yes sir" Mike said and then hastly left for the armory. he doned new armor and took new mmo and grenades as well as a new combat knife.

Withen an hour of Mike's return there was a barrage of machine gun fire Locusts on all sides were emptying clip after clip at them to supress them. The general went throught the fort screaming "hold your fire conserve your ammo!" they wre very low and could not afford to waste it now. however most of the soldeirs did not listen and started to fire the barage continued for over an hour with no sighn of letting up and some of the soldeirs who had opened fire and kept shooting were already out of ammo.

Reth was guarding one of the entranes to the base him and his partner were both sitting there guns leveled at the door. Then smoke grenades were luanched and the whole base was covered in smoke. amidst the barrage and the smoke Reth had no real way of seeing out with the infared camera down he called to a tech to reapir it, and had to just be content with keeping his gun aimed at the door. Abruptly something was framed in the doorway with there back to the smoke it was a huge locust with claws that looked like they were the size of Reths head. Reth opened fire but the Berserker had already lunged into the room at Reths partner it reached him and plunged its claws into the man's neck. the man screamed as blood poured onto his chest armor but he was not dead. the Berserker manuavered the man between itself and Reth so Reth could not shoot. then it placed its other hand on the top of the man's head and twisted snapping the man's neck before Reth could shoot the Berserker had shoved the body at him. Reth's burst slammed into the corpse's stomach and the corpse hit him knocking him back and covering him with blood. before he could get his gun up again the creature was on him it plunged its claws into the weak point in his armor between Reth's shoulder and his chest. Reth screamed and then the creature shoved him to the ground. Reth saw the creature raise its leg and then the creature drove its boot into Reth's face crushing in the fron tof his skull, Reth lay still.

Tony guided the tech towrds the door where the camera had broken. as they went into the room Tony saw a huge Locust with giant claws. He fired and it dodged the tech screamed and ran from the room as the locust jumped at Tony who side stepped just in time. fine if it wanted to play this way Tony would just have to beat it at its own game. Tony activated the chainsaw and lunged the saw hit he berserker's wrist and whent through the berseker's hand flopped to the floor. Tony smiled but his smile changed to an exprission of horror when the berserker who seemed unfazed by the injury used its other hand to slap the gun out of Tony's arms. "****" tony screamed now defensless as the mosturos locust advanced on him.
