ONS-Icarus on Instant Action

Okay, downloaded the map, unzipped it into my Maps folder, will it let me play it on Instant Action, or can I only play it online and get my face blasted trying to feel out the terrain?

OH_NOES!!1!: yes, you can play any map on instant action.



cyrius: click on the community tab, and select Ownage maps. You'll be directed to download it.

please forgive me as i am still really new, but i still cannot find Icarus in the ownage maps. I would humbly ask for more detailed directions. Thank you.

click on community
click on ownage maps
click on ons-icarus
click on download

When you downloaded the file did you copy and paste it into your "maps" folder? Should be in here: D:\UT2004\Maps.

did you download it and manually insert it into the folder, or did you say "join game" on a server that was running the map? if thats what you did, then it doesn't place the map into into the maps folder, but into your cache... you can either manually move it (i haven't done it that way, but you hafta change file names, etc because it saves it wierd) or find a cache tool for ut2k4. i actually use one for ut2k3.. i don't have the webpage though.. just do a search..
