Battlefield Recovery Vehicle
I was thinking of adding this to my Personnel Vehicles pack in a future release.
Basically the idea is to have a vehicle that randomly traverses the ONS_map, stopping from time to time, probably near nodes, by touching the vehicle the players can be healed up to 100 health, and 100 armor(maybe the admin should be able to set this). I've noticed the Unreal designers haven't been exactly generous with health in most of the ONS maps, and why I can quite see why they did this, maybe they went a little over the top.
This Vehicle helps to balance out that issue by providing unreliable healing as it travels about the map, maybe you would want 2 or 3 in Red Planet.:)
I wanted some way for players to know if the vehicle was near, unfortunately I have no Idea how to add objects to the radar/map, or if it is even possible. To get around this I thought the vehicle could have a really recognizably, penetrating sound, like the Goliath engine, I always know where that puppy is when one is near me. So if I can find something like the goliath engine, that you can hear miles away, and is easily locatable, we are onto a winner!
Anyway I've roughed out a quick concept of how I think this vehicle would look, following the UT2k4 vehicle style. This is ta concept so there is only a right side of the vehicle at the moment, once I've mirrored the mesh, and sorted out the mirrored text, you'll be able to see a more complete version.
