In UT2K4 would there be an easy (or just possible) way of having something visually happening in the world to correspond to the location that a (or all) sounds were generated from? Preferably in a mutator or gametype.

For a simple example (although not for this reason) perhaps like the "Tap Tap Tap" effect in XIII - but for all sounds, not just footsteps.

I know it wouldn't work in this (following) way, but kind of "replacing" all generated sounds in the game with an image and a sound.

I remember having a look round at UT2K3 code sometime back, but couldn't think of a way of doing it. The closest I came was mentions of "native" functions. If anyone has any ideas for this or places to start it'd be much appreciated.
