Invasion is already a very cool gametype, but it's a pity to see there aren't really any special maps for it. It would be cool, for example, to defend a fortress (with turrets and all), and monsters spawning en masse outside of it.
Or to have vehicles available to use against monsters.
Also, why isn't it possible to set the number of bots when playing Invasion offline?

Well, in order to do that, the player spawns would have to be in the fortress. Buuuut, so do the monsters. They spawn at the player spawns.

I can see how that complicates things. If there's no way to separate the two, it just has to be a small fortress, so that there's always a player close enough to the spawn points inside the fortress to prevent monsters from spawning there...

Mabye put the spawn points outside the fortress so the players have to walk into it from outside first? For their own saftey you could have little hut-like structures that have doors that only open for players, once inside the players could take a tram to the main base.

someone made monster spawn points for UT2k3....
it may even have been a stock thing...
