I currently have two computers that i have tried to run UT2004 on and I get worse performance from my better computer. The specs for my Laptop include:
2.4 Gig P4
512 DDR RAM
64 DDR Radeon Card
My Desktop:
1Gig Duron
256 DDR RAM
64 Geforce 2
These are just basic specs but it makes the point that my desktop sux. While running the game on my laptop my in game fps is 3 to 6 (with all of the tweeks possible) and 30 fps in the menus. MY desktop runs in game of 17 while, the menus run 86. WTF is wrong with this picture.
I have tried every tweek the other posts have offered and nothing helps. The total time spent tweaking has been 15 hours before i managed to get the game playable (and before anyone says its my online ping i get 10 to 20 ms on a private server) by then i gave up and just delt with crappy game play.
I need answers soon please
If you can offer up assistence It would be greatly appreciative.
