I run a private dedicated server and a group of my friends play weekly games on it. We had our first UT2004 match and, as usual, I recorded a server-side demo. When playing it back I noticed there is now a titlebar that appears with controls for stop, pause and fast forward (as well as map name). Kind of nifty, I thought. I hit ESC and the titlebar closes (you cannot switch between players or move the camera while the titlebar is open).
I start watching the demo again and the bar re-appears on its own after a few seconds. I hit ESC to clear it again. Once more it returns. In fact, at some points it is popping up every eight seconds or so, making it annoying to watch the demo and grab screenshots. At first I thought the titlebar came up when someone died but it would occasionally come up even when that didn't happen.
My question is this: Is there a way to keep that titlebar from appearing unless you specifically hit the ESC key? Is this a bug I'm experiencing or is this the way it's supposed to work, because it's hugely annoying to deal with.
A minor problem compared to others, perhaps, but I'd still appreciate any feedback. :)
