Ok i have tried everything that everyone else has said on these forums to do but while tinkering around I may have found a fix for it. Note*I am using the dvd version for anyone who would like to know.

1.(Optional)I was having problems with my system so I reset my bios to defaults using my clear cmos. I dont know if this helped me but it's worth a shot. After that I put my clock speeds back to to oc speeds (So stfu mr overclocking is the problem).

2.Uninstall the gam completely make sure after the unintall the entire folder is gone.

3.Reinstal all of it to the default directory including the dx9.0b.

4.Go into you ut2004/system folder and delte the ut2004 ini file.
**Note DO NOT CREATE ANOTHER ONE UT WILL DO THIS FOR YOU** **As well I dont know but I highly suggest you do not edit the new ini file.**

5.Run the game see if it works.

I mean sure youll lose most of your settingbs but hey I can play it flawlessly now:D . let me know if this work for you.

judging from your thread it seems the problem all along was one of your bios settings or you dx9 was corrupt.
