Minimize to my Desktop

I enjoy my desktop, and I enjoy UT2K4. However I do not enjoy when I'm playing a fast paced deathmatch and all of a sudden I minimize to my desktop. The game is not crashing, it simply minimizes, I need to maximize, and I'm back playing. Normally after getting killed once or twice. Anyone know what could be causing this?

is one of your mouse buttons bound to minimize, or switch window. I have the optical intellimouse and the middle wheel button is bound to switch windows. Every once in a while I would hit it and it would minimize UT and bring up some window I had in the backround.

Thanks, that seems to be it. I've never really used that as a button, just a wheel. But I guess it does click lol.

ok well i searched this and this what i found. now i am having the same prob

i went to my mouse settings but i did not see how i could disable it...

any help?

Another suggestion could also be another program running in the background trying to get your attention, so it minimizes the game. IM programs like ICQ and Messenger can do that. Just food for thought.

its weird i cant find either my mouce setup or my keyboard set up... there not in the control pannle either.

Well, you might not be seeing them in Control Panel because you are running windows XP and do not have the classic view turned on. I find it easier to find stuff with classic view on in the control panel.
