Always disconnect when servers change maps

I *always* time out when servers change maps. Instead of the "loading" screen, I get a black screen with the ut2004: url in white text. This text pulses about once every 30 seconds. Then, the program exists and says I was disconnected from the server. Every server, every map, every gametype. I do have a router (SMC) but my gaming computer is in the DMZ. Help!

I have a D-Link router and I'm having the exact same problem, and my system is inside a DMZ too.

Even tough it makes no sense, I decided to forward all the necessary ports to try to see if it made any difference, and amazingly it did. I was able to play for 4-5 maps without getting the error.

However, today the same problem came back. At this point, it seems to me that it was only by coincidence that it worked after I forwarded the ports.

I will continue to troubleshoot the issue and will post here after I have a definite solution. I suggest anyone experiencing this does the same.

fwiw, I tried adding the ports to my allowed ports list and still get disconnected.
