When i first installed ut2004 i was getting hitches and mouse lag all over the place so i sough (sp) out help on these forums and got rid of it.
the problem is that i was required to turn on hardware sound to do this. when this was done, all my amient sound went away! i cant here footsteps or enemy vehicles or even explosions anymore.
it sux.
if ya need to kno, i have an sis 7012 sound card that is built into th motherboard. should i get a pci card?
