Atari is no help

So I phoned Atari because the DVD I received from Amazon today does not work. I get a cyclic redundancy data error on the same file every single time during the install. Atari basically tells me tough luck, and to send it back to Amazon. Amazon has already shipped it a week late to begin with, I cant imagine the turn around time to do this, are there any other options?

Try the CD version? I was 'scared off' from purchasing the DVD version due to what I read here & elsewhere.

So, I bought the CD version and it loaded up w/o issue for both linux & xp.
