ut2k4 rebate not for online buyers?

it says on the rebate i need a receipt dated between 3/14/04 and 5/14/04. i preordered the s.e. from ebgames. it only came with a packing slip, no 'receipt'. i need the packing slip for the $20 ebgames gift voucher. all my confirmation email have a date of february 2004, not the dates required by the rebate. so are online buyers not eligible for the rebate? the eb order page made it look like buyers are eligible for the rebate AND the gift voucher!

just ask your friends, im sure many ppl dont get the 10$ rebate because they dont care (like me).
