The terrain jobby looks very good, and the trigger os the volcano erupting sounds good as well, hopefully you can pull it off

looks great...good luck with the bot pathing too...the bots tend to run into the lava zones in my experience ;)

hey whats up I was wondering what you were up to :D seriously everybody, this guy is a genius in emitters and speacial effects as far as ued goes that map is looking 1337 man, hopefully it plays ok,

:) Thank you guys for feedback-
Currentlly I'm workin on other MAP(CTFmap-Eternal) and because they look similiar (theme-castle bases-bridge in the middle) I'll make a decision which one will see the light of day...
(I always wanted to have nice AVA and flow was sufferin' because of that- so it's time to change that and make a decent map with good fps - before ut20004 gone gold )

And then Appius Claudius the Blind shows up and starts talking smack to Clodia... one of my favorite parts.

That's the only place I remember seeing the word. We translated a lot of Cicero's Pro Caelio last semester... anyone else done that?

Sorry no linkage yet, but this is last update pics before linkage;
Maybe you will be wonderin' where is the caves(second terain) but can't show you all...
there is also a new sounds(creepy-some of them are trigered-some are just for ambient -so you don't need a music turn on.
(a weight of the map is why I woun't put a new music inside level-for now is 12mb unziped but it will grow for sure)
Pics are brighten a little in photo shop so they looks washed out.
I need to polish lights,some terain layers and entrance to caves...umm hope next week will be finished-and there will be no public beta testing.

Looks nice i must say. I hope that the scale of those mountains is quite large. Most mountains in ut2k3 maps are just little hills.

If you can see that litlle window on last pic tower(on the right)-That is size of player-compare to the mountains and fps ;) It's maybe a small ctf map but it should be fun... ;)

Well it seems nice but the mountains are still just little hills :), hard to do large mountains with ut2k3 though so i guess it's fine.

Looking good:up:

The terrain is looking cool, but is lacking vegetation, a few dead tress and grass around would look really nice and add detail. Also the add "pit-in-the-ground" with steam blasting out every now and then would work wonders, a few lava pools with steam coming out would look nice as well.

Nice soild FPS there too, usually FPS isn't too hot with terrain maps. The BSP work is looking good, through on that arch would could do with some trim. Missing or loose brick work would look sweet in the damage ruins/castle, think about it a castle in the middle of a erupting volcano, there also would be some ash/dirt around the castle as well.

Looking good so far mate, will be on my download list when its out.

Like you said some architecture needs more (polish)work
(arches for sure)
Decorations goes at the end after pathing,
First pic is without fog and you can see the difference to other pics in fps (I aded also a fallin' ash for more ava but fog and ash are not good together for fps)
It's tight map to place a lava pit -maybe I can place it in little caves...

I removed new shader ring from sky-new combiner lava before I post this last pics(again fps problem)- but don't worry you'll be suprised with finished product.
-four routes in and out with multiple crossovers path-should be really fun if fps stay high.
(I will do my best to keep fps high as posiblle :)
