Deviant Legacy is a multi-game clan that will be shifting focus from GRAW to Gears of War (mainly) and Rainbow Six Vegas (a strong secondary focus) in the fall. That means that, obviously, we're focused completely on GRAW right now.

Just popped on to the forums to tell you that the NEW XtraLife website and forums are up. If you were a previous member of the forums, please RE-REGISTER as the forums have been reset to clean them out.

I'm planning on making a team and I've got 3 seasons of CAL Battlefield 2 8v8 Open experience. A team website is in the works and will be up and running sometime in the near future.

Things that I want to look for in other teammates and are required for membership:

1. Team play- focuses on helping the team out and doing whatever it takes to help the team

2. Dedication to the team- dedicates their time to the team, makes practices, always wants to play with the team, makes an effort to be at all matches

3. Communication- has great communication skills and doesnt yell or scream or tries to be the "boss". Some gaming lingo is needed like being able to know what flanking means, etc.

4. Non-Rambo- since this is a team tactical shooter that has revival in-game, being close to your teammates is very important. Rambos that think they can do everything on their own will not be accepted. If you want to be a Rambo, go make your own team.

5. Non-stat whore- does not care about personal stats. cares more about the team and is not a sore loser in defeat.

6. Sportsmanship- top class sportsmanship is show at all times.


These are just some of the most important things needed in a member of my team that I want to make up.

Feel free to IM me on AIM and let me know if you are interested. If you have any other games like H2, COD2, etc, we can use those games to practice team communication to prepare for Gears.

If an online league like CAL or any other online league, we will enter into the league and play a season. you will be expected to participate in weekly practices and matches.

Yes, we are recruiting. For a brief description: Most of us have been around (and competing) since MechAssault. We were all active in RB6: 3 as well as RB6: BA (during that time we were members of varying clans). We played Chromehounds semi-competitively but were very active in the standard Neroimus Wars. Now, we're actively playing GoW (have been since launch) and we need some new faces. Most of us are in the 20-30+ age group with experience in games all over the place.

Requirements? Not much. I don't want any negative attitudes or "I'm better than everyone!" TO types. If you think you're a good player, chances are we have someone who's better then you. At least wait until you find out before you boast.

I'm looking for 18+ year olds (to avoid the "Tickle-Me-Elmo" types..hey, if you're 15 with a normal voice and an above average maturity level, apply) with a fairly open schedule that allows them to play more often than others. You don't have to be a basement cretin, but solid attendance every other day, even if for an hour, is nice to have.

Obviously we're looking to compete and should you apply and be accepted you may have to compete. We're registered on Gamebattles.com and have tons of contacts in-game which makes competitive, hard fought games very common. So, if you're completely new to this game, while we still may accept you if you're one helluva person, chances are this group may not be for you. I'm not looking for any set k/d ratio or any kind of "zOMG so l33t!" players (if you are, please apply if you're interested, its just not what I'm looking for as those types are few and far between). I'm looking for active players with the ability to follow the simplest of strategies, communicate, have fun and learn while winning OR losing.
