Here's a screen and movie of my New DeRez for my xFactor Game MOD. tell me what you think, need comments.

BUG:
I can't seem to get the arms to fall when the bodies rises, tried everything, but they remain up, is that a bad thing?

It looks very nice, and it's not really a bad thing... but I do think it would be improved if the arms hung down.

agreed, especially with the "very nice" part ;)

can you prevent them from popping out at the end?
Like maybe get them to fade out instead...

Okay Mister Smartypants, why didn't you capitalize the first word of your sentence?
Why didn't you use a period at the end of your sentence?

;)

nitpickers dont have to follow their own rules, especially on the internet ;)

edit: might as well post something relevant :p IIRC ragdolls have to be weighted before they work, so id assume that since the arms are less massive theyre lifted more quickly (as the derez lift seems to happen on a total body scale and not just at the center of mass)

there's a difference between slacking grammar and capitalizing WORDS that really don't need it.

it's also a pet peeve of mine, so I'm in danger of hijacking the thread...will ... stop ... now.

That might be, but it doesn't make it any more proper.
I really don't give a rats ass though.

anyway...
Be sure to let us know when you've updated your de-res effect, Morphias.

nitpickers should just shutup!

Wrong, the standard derez drops the arms and legs as the ragdoll rises, I haven't modified any weights, so I assumed everything would be right.

Instead of telling me what needs to be done, how about explaining how to do it.

Also, ragdolls are lifted with bone lifters, which only lift the bones they are attatched to, in this case, they are attatched to the feet, SO I ASSUMED the arms would drop. Thats why I asked for help!

What about the most obvious idea: Don't add bonelifters to the arm bones.

There are no bone lifters on the arms, just the L FOOT and R FOOT.

For some reason the arms will not drop unless I put the liftes back on the spine.

I might look at the kGravscale setting.

MOD is registered as an acronym on http://www.acronymfinder.com/af-query.asp?p=dict&String=exact&Acronym=MOD for some reason, though I personally treat it as a regular (?) abbreviation.

Anyway, maybe what is happening is the arms get stuck somehow; maybe the hands get stuck to the torso?
Something like how sometimes in the game you get stuck in the floor with your head, or hang on a perfectly straight wall with your arm?
(OK, so then the colission detection got screwy making a piece of you stick through some brush/static mesh in some cases, but you get my drift.)
It's just that if moving the lifters a little is enough to fix the problem.

Maybe an equal amount of force is on the arms to push them forward, backwards, and sideways, resulting in the arms being stationary?
Just some random guesses...

Because that site doesn't have much to do with english, it's just a dictionary of terms including the vernacular.

MOD can't technically be an acronym of modification. An acronym is "formed from the initial letter or letters of each of the successive parts or major parts of a compound term". Modification is one word, not a compound term.

But it's not for grammar nazi reasons it's one of my biggest pet peeves. It's just ANNOYING to have words capitalized in the middle of text for no good, ya KNOW?

I'm always glad to hear about a project, I just wish people would stop yelling about it.

I'll hush now.

Let's get into words like "the" and "of", as in LotR:TRotK, and why sometimes they get capitalized, and sometimes not.

Just kidding!
