What the hell is happening? we are in october and still news about ut2k4 come once every 2-3 millenniums....epic needs to rethink its PR department, last year everybody know the PR disaster that they made...now they act in the exact opposite way (wich is better but still sucks)....its quite time to announce when the damn demo will be out and when the damn game wil be released as well......

Why??
I'd rather get a solid date when it's sure, not a guess-timate that they'd get flamed for missing.

yes:
its ok to:
-push back products even for months if its needed..
its not good to:
-make people think that the product (demo) is near while its clearly not (referring to ut2k3)..
-creating confusion about the features included in the final game..
-pushing back the demo release date countless times (the famous TWO WEEKS)
-rushing the final product after a bunch of whining trolls..
-having the community moderator lost in his loving of the good old gestapo days..
After all this you guys have been very supportive with your customers providing us with excellent free content and patches that shaped up an allready excellent game so i'm not really complaining but again i have to say that your behaviour before the game came out was disastrous...
now you guys corrected your behaviour trying to prevent what i have listed under the "its not good to" column (lol) and you have my appreciation for that but still i'm feeling that you could still give us more info about the release dates od demo and game, the "two weeks" syndrome wont happend again as you guys could control it better.....just my thoughts...
ps:ada navi are you able to speak and write a column in italian language doing only one error? if the answer is no then you need to STFU and go away...

No, I mean "event better."
It's the latest catch phrase in the video game PR world, replacing such classic thrill-inducing hits, including: "frenetic, over-the-top gameplay," "cutting-edge technology," "ground-breaking innovations," "bleeding-edge <insert item here>," "white-knuckled action" and "eye-popping visuals" :p
It means: "It's an event, but better" ...or something. OK, this is pretty thin... I admit it. I'm done now. :(

Any comments from the PR department on whether UT2004 will
be made more UT99-fan-friendly?
Or whether there will be a gametype that emulates UT99
gameplay?
(You can see this as a request, and the reason being we'd like
more people to buy and play UT2004. Thanks!)

What are you talking about? They created a HUGE frenzy last year with this "When is the demo" available "two weeks" bull.
It was very well planned, and it worked.

Idon't think people would really be playing UT2004 if it just emulated UT99.
It would be "UT99 Emulator", not UT2004
...but since you obviously haven't been keep ing tabs on the progress, many things have been done to bring more of the elements of UT99 into play.
I can't say it's UT all over again, but that would be a waste of development if it was anyway.

Funny...
but what i meant was, it wouldn't even be UT2004 if it just emulated UT. It would be UT. (we already have that game).
He said he hopes more people will play "UT2004"
