The theme is mine, started it a few days ago, not done yet, I did wallpaper too.

the Hoverdesk3.0 Theme is made by me (all but the icons witch are used with permision) and the wallpaper is also my own creation (100% PS7 no plugins or stuff only pure handcrafted ;) i'v used the tuts on www.artofgregmartin.com to create it though (awsome artist)

You guys should start using <screenshot></screenshot> tags on images bigger than 640x480 or otherwise this thread might get closed/deleted like the other ones that didn't follow the rules. ;) Anyway, here's my current desktop:

Only thing I didn't like about hoverdesk is that it is a hog. That and you have to pay for it right?

hog? you can set it up however you like it... i like big stuff but you can go for a minimalistic look aswell

it's a 30 day trial then it's either pay or do the mumbo jumbo ;)

COMPRESS YOUR DAMN IMAGES!!!!
sheesh, the two up top STILL haven't finished loading after 5 minutes!500K for an image of that size is unacceptable, mines much larger in size, and only 100K! Just open it in Photoshop/PSP and COMPRESS THE DANG THING...sheesh...keep in mind that not everyone has cable/dsl/T3/S38 connectiong, mmk?

The picture was actually taken by me, using a Sony CyberShot U at 640 x 480 resolution. (It has a higher resolution, but I can't get a lot of pictures at that resolution.) Unfortunately, I run my desktop at 1280 x 1024.

Agreed! I'm still stuck on 56K here, have a heart people! :)

I think the time before last there were like 2 on the same page that were a Meg a piece. :eek:

Also if you've got a high resolution desktop it helps to make a thumbnail, that way you can get away with a 75K image and just use [url] tags to link to the full sized 500K one.

Sailor_Saturn: Compressing walls for this forum is considered a "courtesy" and it is actually a part of the rules of this forum (in order to cater to ppl with slower connections). You can always link to the "full pic" for ppl that want to look at the bigger version. :) BTW - I don't really care if you do it or not (I have high-speed DSL and the pics load instantly), the only reason I mention it is because "other" wallpaper threads have been closed/deleted by the mods for this very reason.

Currently I'm using a Bryce 2 rendering I made ("Caged Energy 2")back when I was working Avalon Hill. I was a tech support guy for their flakey PC games, but I had the opportunity to fiddle around with their cool 3D software apps and playtest a few new games. The .ZIP files on the desktop are some of the Voice Packs I'm working on.
