The fourth edition of my UT2K3 movies, entitled TropicV4, is out! It struts 12:45 minutes of normal weapons fragging all in high quality video! You can grab it here-

Just watched the movie, and it is great as expected from Tropic. You had some sweet air rocket and bio kills, those are my favorite :D . Keep up the good work man. Thank you ^vs^Bazza for hosting it :up:

Just... you are starting to get repetitive. If there is a next one, would you mind changing servers a bit? Although they are nice shots after the 9th shock combo off of Grendel Kepp's Elevator, it starts getting a little boring.

Also, am I the only one who noticed that there is a glitch? In Tropics video, you could see the particle default sprites in the game on DM-Compressed. Is that just you'r game or does that always happen when demo playing?

Ok, hehe I see what you are talking about there by repetitive, I'll try to spice the next movie up even more :) Also the next movie will probably be half 2k3 and half 2k4 :)

Thats what happens when you play demos. Its a glitch within unreal when you go back to play any demo, the particle effects get all messed up.

It took me the whole day, I had to restart 3 times. Dun worry though, 2 of them weren't you'r fault.
Avgerage of 110KB/s for my cable modem.

Every frag except for 2 were taken on TheFactory. I put the first frag of the movie in as an add which has TheFactory info there ;) The two not from TheFactory was the only telefrag in the film and the one headshot on the BBr clan's CTF server:)

Instagib is less skill in my opinion,but i could play that to.
But its just that i think NW requires more if you know what i mean.
Not just one shot a frag but a little more.

IG is pure aim and reflexes. NW requires those two as well, but it also requires good weapon switching skills and knowledge of each weapon's abilities.

The LG IS different.... it has those flashy things (/me sux at english) at the end so you can miss a shot but still get a frag. So the LG is not as skilled as the IG rifle.

If you would have compared it to the normal shock the comparison would have been good. :F

Alright I guess I will provide some input.
Excellent frags.
I'm watching it again now.
Good beginning. Nice pan out in compressed.

Also that "tropic presents" with the green spelling was great with the timing of the FF music.

Keep up the good work with synching the music with the frags.

Some more slow mo shots would be great, the only qulam I have about this is that it looks pretty jumpy.

Same with the flak grenades.

The mid air goo shot looked very nice on antalus in the beginning. The only problem is that it missed. When you actually kill the guy I was like wtf where did that come from. It just seemed that he randomly died.

Even though the shock combos on grendelkeep look fabulous with the lift jump. But perhaps cutting down on it a little bit would be good. That double kill was great.

When you don't change the scene and you kill more than one person. I think that we should see more of that.

Maybe if you provided commentary in some areas of the movie explaining what you were doing and such.

Using multiple weapons to take down enemies is very fun to watch.

More shield gun! But thats because I like to use it alot.
Try to get recording of you reflecting lightning shots with it and killing people.

Again take down multiple foes.

(Thats flak ball into deth's face was great in grendel keep!)
Excellent with the song "Wakeup!" (Dammit I forgot the band)
The speed goes well with the game.

I noticed that your goo shots in V4 are much better than in v3 in general. More like those plz.

(Wall jump on the bouncer next to the 100 shield in the quake remake map was great, more of those! nothing like doing trick jumps)

(Nice job in killing Ender)

The minigun just doesn't seem as flashy as the rest of the weapons when used and I'm not really sure how to show good frags with it unless you snipe someone or something.

(Fighting Pure Grog in the egyptian temple when he has the amp was excellent. Same as when you fought with Champion. It gave the watcher more combat sights which is needed. More of those. Definetly.)

Overall it was well done. Longer is better. More frags and more fights.
Do not change your decision to keep the frags in one map in a chunk apart from others. It gives the movie a less random feel. But you knew that I'm sure:up: . Well I need to finish up some of my work so I will look it over again later and see if anything else pops into mind.

BTW: More maps would be good. keep fighting the good players. Also if you could include some of the sound that is going on in the battle I think it would help make it more exciting than it already is. Don't have this drown out the music though. The music was great.

I thought that the showing of the wicked sick kill in V3 was excellent. More! cept maybe without the slow motion. Your call there
