"Unfortunately, NETGEAR does not sell routers that allow "port ranging". Our routers will only allow punching through the firewall for eight specific ports. While this has become a recent issue for our online gaming and videoconferencing customers, NETGEAR has not released a router that supports this online gaming feature of utilizing a broad range of ports yet."

go to your DHCP table to see all PCs on your network. IT will tell you your ip of your server.

DHCP/DHCP Clients Table

192.168.0.5 could be it.

if you can access those options, it should do what you need. Have never seen that before.

I have the 8 port linksys. I tried setting up the same way as you but now good. Please take a look at this link and tell me what I am doing wrong....

Also, why do you port forward to 192.168.1.101 when all your DHCP comps start at 102?

sorry...this pic is old (several months) i have changed DHCP several times since then. The ip listed on this (forwarding) page should match the of your server ip. In the cases here, 101 should actually be 103.

also. If you aren't trying to host...only play...you shouldn't have to do any port forwarding. I have no ports forwarded on my gamer and am able to play on all servers (UT and otherwise). Port forwarding is only to allow others to connect to you when you are hosting. If DMZ didn't work, then there is something wrong beyond the router.
