Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone had noticed that the shock rifles primary fire is off? Or is it just me, because I am aiming at the centre of the shock core and it doesn't seem to explode! I notice that you have to hit its left side or the top of it, can anyone shed some light on this subject for me please, because hitting the core is becoming quite frustrating. :o

Thanks

yes, this has been brought up again and again here, and it seems that the sr is not centered. Dont bother complaining to epic to fix it, people have been commenting on this for a long time:p

Grim, are you using centered weapons? I have found that this brings things into alignment pretty well. Give it a shot and see how it works for you. Good luck. :)

hey Chemicalburn,
Yay it works, but the thing is I don't like the way the guns look now and especially the link gun cause the secondary fire blocks my view of whats in front of me. Is there a way for me to change the view to centre only for the shock rifle and have the rest of the guns on the right? Thanks again for your help ;)

That's not a bug.

There's a very slight delay on the shock rifle between when it fires and when it hits, meaning you have to lead your shots very slightly ahead of whatever you're shooting at. It's not that it's not "centered", and it is not a "bug". That's the way it was designed.

However, there is a bug, that when you have first person weapon view on (eg, you keep those big, useless weapon models on your screen), the shock rifle does fire slightly down and to the right. The solution? Hidden weapon. You don't need it anyway.
