i can't get the package to untar ... anyone else have this problem?? what was the solution?

Hey be nice. This is kind of confusing. Why was it made a .tar.tar? I believe the soloution is to make it a .tar.bz2 file. Anyway use bzip to unzip it. :up:

I have no obligation to be nice to people who are too lazy to search for even such an obvious topic. And I wasn't really nasty, now was I?
The reason it has been made a .tar.tar is Windows braindamage when it sees a file extension it doesn't recognize.
You don't need to rename it. Unix doesn't care about extensions.
