Hi
we run a www.fragfrenzy.co.uk and we are finding that there hacks now doing the rounds on publics servers,we run utsecure but that seems useless to stop these?we also have the add-on AntiTCC?again these hacks are just simply getting through? now while we know that ut2004 is around the corner not everyone may jump straight to it,there maybe loads of clans that may still be playing ut2k3 but if these hacks are not stopped the community may lose faith in Epic and stay clear of ut2004?so if there is anyone out there that has encountered these hacks and have somehow combatted it a post here would be welcome ,and if Epic have any decency they will not abandon all ut2k3er's but try and help resolve this issue of what appears to be a growing problem

Ive had a link from Zantos and looked at the posts.

We own different servers for hire and i admin them and even the XS4ALL servers.
But when this comes out even bigger we will have our hands full (even so the rest of alle the UT2003 admins).

So if you all can make a commend about what is happening here we all will be more at ease knowing you are on the subject.

For now TNX in advance

I have got to say this this really does worry me, I've tried installing all the Security Patches I know of and got a friendly to use attempt the Hacks on the Server, and UTSecure and the AntiTCC addon didn't even flinch. I had previously seen Wallhacks which weren't being stopped by UTSecure, But for example the Hack where the person goes invisable, even when picking up the Ball and Flag, is something that really needs looking into.

I would like Epic to consider how many people are going to hang around in servers where you got 2 Invisable people, who move as quickly as having Speed, or having these Huge Figures who when they Die, Leave there Skin where they die.

I've been a big Fan of UT and now UT2k3 I moved from UTAS when most stayed and slagged it. But I feel that if this isn't resolved its going to really spoil what is already a delicate Community.

I would also like to mention that due to this I'm planning on having every League Match viewed by an Admin as there is nothing which can pic these Hacks Up.

Regards,

Reap$

I gotta bump this thread by mentioning that I have seen a lot of invisibility hacks in the last few days.

It really sucks.

I would like to say a big Thank you to Wormbo, Its nice to see that there are people continuing to Keep UT2k3 Secure from these Hacks.

I haven't had a chance to test this yet, but I hope this will Stop both the Invis and Fat Gorge Hacks.

Didn't DrSiN say something along these lines? That things like Anti-TCC are good but won't be able to stop every method of hacking? It's looking like cheating will be around until the next patch unless Epic decides to break network compatibility earlier with an extra patch.

I just jumped into a public tdm server 30 minutes ago. At the first five minutes of the second game there was a guy with invis cheat in the server. Also earlier today another clan member that was also in the tdm server with me saw another guy cheating earlier...

We will be breaking UT2003's network compatibility in the next patch which will be at some point before UT2004 ships.

I'm Bumping any thread I find having to do with cheats in online playthen maybe we will get more of a response since the patch just got pushed ahead I want UTSecure 2.12 Now please.

I registered to betatest Ureal2 XMP when I reached the question
"What other games have you tested?"
I answered UT2004 for the Last year.
