Hi there guys
I am very new at this whole server thing and am wanting to get into it.
I would like to set up a LAN server for UT 2003. I have a retail version for windows, but I would like to to set it up on Linux.
This is what I am busy doing.
Downloading the UT 2003 server pack for Linux (250MB) with all the necessary patches.
I know that I could probably set this whole thing up on a windows server, but I am looking for a challange. I don't want to have a live server on the net, just on at home where a few friends could get together and play network games.
This is probably over kill, but I want to give it a try.
Please could someone put me in the right direction. A step by step guide would be great.
