redirect issue again

ok....for some reason redirect will not work at all any more

I have added STNY into my ini file for the redirect and it refuses to redirect them to it......in my cmd window i keep seeing "Sending '../System/ChaosGames.u' and i just checked and its there...all the chaosut2 files are there.....

Are you using server for LAN or Online gaming?
I never send any files for my online gaming server, I redirect using a webserver, keep all files there.

do you use chaos 1.01 on your server or 1.00 ??

1.01 is on the redirect

Sproket....Online gaming....it worked before but it stopped one day about 3 months ago and hasnt worked since...and i have reformatted since then...reinstalled....so on and so forth.....could it be my router or firewall?

Supernewbie....its 1.01....the same file names are on the stny redirect....so i am assuming its the same version....

im using the same redirect with chaos and it works fine here :p

but in your error it says Sending '../System/ChaosGames.u'

i think it should say sending http://gaming.stny ....
so i guess you maybe have a typo in it or something like that

i think it might be gaming.stny.ut2k3maps.com/maps/

but in the how to on unreal admin i copied and pasted it just like that and on stny's site it shows it like that too....

but on stny's site it also says to change "ALLOWDOWNLOADS=" to False....i had mine on true....i just changed it and i will let you know if something changes....but people have told me that even with that turned on it should still redirect as long as you have it setup.....

well its working now but it doesnt seem to be working completely....my friend told me that there is one file its not downloading so it might not be all on the redirect.....he just cant remember the damn file name....idiot....lol....now i just need to find out which one it is....

This is how I keep my server all the time:
IpDrv.TcpNetDriver
AllowDownloads=False

That way no one can download from your server and just put everything you want people to have on your webserver.
When connecting if you have a file that you forgot to put on webserver then it will say server refused to send file. then just find that file and place it ony our webserver.
No one in my opinion should be downloading from your server at all unless your maybe doing a LAN server instead of online gaming server.

well you see its the chaosut2 evolution mod v1.01.....supernewbie there says he uses it and it doesnt give him any errors with the redirect at all......maybe i need to get that file name from my idiot friend and check to see if it is on there....

well i am pretty sure it is a chaos file cuz all he could tell me was that it had chaos in it.....if you can try connecting to my server.... i plan on leaving it on for a day so you can try and get the file name for me...

i have uploaded the chaos 1.02 update to the redirect yesterday

ive already got a few players yesterday that downloaded 1.02 without errors from the redirect

the file that wasnt downloading is chaosSPAmodels
that is all that it said....

its an animation file (UKX) i checked the redirect and its there.....i only installed the 1.01 full and the 1.02 patch........is there another file i am missing....

i noticed that its case sensitive.....cuz there are two files with the same name just one is chaosSPAmodels and the other is chaosSPAModels (the M).....but my trouble is chaosSPAmodels.....

doesnt any one have any kind of a solution for this? other than pay for my own web site to put maps and crap on.....cuz every one that connects that does not have any of the maps/mods that i am running cant download them from the redirect. Some of the errors are becuase of case sensitivity. Like chaosSPAModels and chaosSPAmodels......

And even once it had the correct case for each letter compared to the file on the redirect and its still not sending them the file.

I used proasm's game make program to make my own game type and uploaded the int and U files to the redirect site and they have no trouble downloading it? They get most of the chaos files exect that one....
