I was just loading up UT2003 the way I always do... and i got this critical error:

UT2003 Build UT2003_Build_[2003-04-07_17.42]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 2803 MHz with 511MB RAM
Video: No Video

Assertion failed: sizeof(*this)==GetClass()->GetPropertiesSize() [File:UnGame.cpp] [Line: 144]

History: UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine

I've never had problems before. I reinstalled my patches, DirectX 9.0b, and my Catalyst drivers.

My specs are:
Pentium 4 2.8 GHz (HT)
512MB PC3200 RAM
ATI Radeon 9800 Non-Pro

Help????? :cry:

I have a 'No video' error but with UnrealED instead. No changes were made to get such message and the game is running fine. Still nobody can answear about this kind of problem, not even Epic themselves. Like I said before, using other video card drivers or anything else is pointless.

I fixed my problem, it was caused by a corrupted installation of the epic bonus pack.

Hmm...

It seems like there are tons of different things that can trigger the No Video error, what does your error say exactly for the editor?

Build UT2003_Build_[2003-04-07_17.42]

OS: Windows 2000 5.0 (Build: 2195)
CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 1684 MHz with 1023MB RAM
Video: No Video

Assertion failed: Bitmap.LoadFile(Filename) [File:..\..\Engine\Inc\UnEngineWin.h] [Line: 38]

History: InitSplash

I'm currently using Service Pack 4 for Windows 2000 but this problem used to happen before. God knows what the hell is going on with the damn exe. As I see by the error it seems that it can't find some bitmap. Putting the real bitmap name instead of '(Filename)' would be a nice idea...

Thank you for the link to the other post. Now that I think of it, I did recently install the epic bonus pack, although I have played the game since then. I'll reinstall it and see what comes up.
