Hello everyone. First post here. (obvious fact stator) Anyways a quick comment on ut2k3.... It ownz. Ive actually owned the game for quite some time but for some stupid reason I have never really gave it an honest chance. I kinda played it for a little while and compared it to quake3 Threewave and I decided to put it away. (Im a hardcore quaker =) Just a few days ago I thought it would be cool to try it out again and since I recently got more hd space I had plenty of room for it. (which was another reason I uninstalled it previously) Anyhow to make a long story short.. I LOVE IT NOW!!! I cant belive that I put it off for so long. The translocator is the coolest thing. Multiplayer is very smooth and im having alot of fun with it. My only problem with it so far is the lack of tweaking ability. Well, at least my lack of knowledge on how to tweak the game. If someone has a link to a tweaking site for the game I would be very happy. Plus, any mods out there that alot of ppl play Id like to check out aswell so a link to them would be nice also. I am searching around the net for mods, tweaks and maps among other things for the game but linkage will lesson my googling time and increase my fraggin time ;) anyways.. hope to see some of you on the servers..

what kind of tweaks do you mean?
There are many, many options in the 2 ini files you can change.

Tweaks for anything and everything really. I like to fiddle with stuff. Those ini files sound interesting. I found 10 in the UT2003/system directory. Can you execute configuration files from the console? Say if I have a certain config for DM and a different one for CTF.

check out the */ut2003/system/user.ini and ut2003.ini
user.ini has setting relating to controls and aliases, while the ut2003.ini file has graphics and engine settings.
I dont know if it is possible to switch between inis because as far as i know, they are loaded as soon as the game starts, and changes to the file are not recognized until you resrat the game, so it seems the file is saved as read only in memory when the game starts
