this problem occurs after opening up UT2003, checking favorites and then listing all the availalble DM servs. if i decide to check the TDM or DOM server lists for example, the master server won't return ANYTHING, no list, no nothing. (as if it's timing out or something...) if i return to favorites or the DM server list, everything has a ? where ping would be, and if i hit re-ping, i get N/A for all the servers.
i'm using kerio personal firewall, and ut2003.exe is allowed through it. (i have no trouble once i'm in game though.) xp pro has firewall OFF. the correct ports are forwarded in my router settings, even though i'm not running a server.
to top it off, if i decide to exit UT2003 my internet connection is "frozen" and i have to reboot to access web sites and such. (i tried the repair function, this did nothing.)
does the master server have a limit on how many times a certain IP can access the lists in a given time? this would explain the n/a in the game but not the locked connection.
if anyone has any insight they might offer, i would greatly appreciate it. :D
