Bounce Jump???

I could do every jump in the book so far up until a couple of days ago... I found out about this new jump that some german guy did in antalus.... maaaaaaaad crazy stuff.... its called a bounce jump and it propels him almost accross the WHOLE level! its crazy ****... does anyone know where i can learn how to do it? or something of that sort.... ide looove to learn ir for its cooler then anything ive ever seen :cool:

I think it's been dismissed as a hoax using low grav and quad jump.

I've sorta done it before. It's a manipulation of terrain and how it pushes you backwards when you try to climb a too-steep incline. When the terrain pushes you back, you jump, so the speed and the height from jumping sends you flying backwards.

It is not a hoax. It's just impossible to masterize it coz it's too random. The easiest one to do is in dm-compressed but don't expect to place any in a match, forget about it.

Speaking of antalus i saw this guy do a jump where he dodge of a tree and went almost straight up to the redeemer. What is that. It cant be a boost dodge cause it dosnt go that high. He also aims down at the tree to do it. Could it be like a shield boost dodge jump?:bulb:

it's called bounce jump, the technic is simple to explain :
There are some places on the map when u walk forward it, you're pushed back. Use this force to jump higher.
The "only thing" you have to do is to press "jump" in the good moment when you're pushed back. I already mentionned above, you will have to try a lot of times to succeed. The easiest one is in compressed in the middle of the map (50 shield). There are too angular things just at left & right of the shield, go forward one of them, u will see u will be pushed "violently" backward. Press jump at the good moment and try to control when u're in air.
