is any limit for Game folder ?

I have 850 maps in my map folder
playing game is ok but .. little worry about my game
one day suddenly crush my game.... ?:cry:
I just wondering othere ppl how many maps inside map folder ??

Over 100, not sure how many exactly, I should get round to deleting some of the crap ones though, cos it slows down access to "Instant Action".

My UT2003 game file is 15GB 3400 files is too much ? :eek:

other than long times loading the instant action menu, you should not have any problems, although i am sure you could delete ~80% of those maps

yes I think so too but ... all maps are so nice and fun so it hard to delete ... :cry:

The only prob I have with deleting maps is I'm only confident enough to delete the .ut2 file. I can never be certain that the .utx, .uax, .usx etc files are exclusively used by that map, or another one I loaded subsequenty.

I suppose I could put a bit of effort in and check time stamps etc, but life's too short, I just wanna frag.
