Ever since I installed the v2225 patch, UMOD files won't work.
Every UMOD I open up ends up being the v2225 patch setup.
Like today, I downloaded the player model, Effigy. When I opened the Zip File, it had three separate files to be extracted into their appropriate folders, and the UMOD file. When I double clicked it, the heading said "Unreal Tournament 2003 Patch Setup" and it was at the "Select Language" screen. I figured maybe the text was just screwed up, so I chose English and clicked next. Then came the screen where you choose where to put the files. It had "C:\UT2003" and when I pressed "Next", this error came up :
"This update requires UT2003 to be installed in the folder first. Please locate the existing folder for UT2003, or exit and install it now."
The problem is that this whole "Patch Setup" glitch occurs with ALL of my UMOD files. This isn't the first time it has happened, it's just the first one I'm reporting.
Anyone know how I can fix my UMOD files? I've already tried downloading them again, but the glitch still occurs. I'm STUMPED!!
