We`ve playing this game since 2 weeks and couldnt find our nicks on the stats. They are enabled in game options and i read the faq`s and checked in the ut2003.ini file if the certain lines are set "true". So everything should be fine, but our stats where not tracked at all. Yesterday i joined a puplic server, i checked the stats, and holla, all of a sudden my nick was on. So i am a bit confused now what i did wrong when hosting a session, because the stats get not tracked at all it seems. Somebody has an idea why ?
And another question: When you start a server with bots and human players join, the bots get kicked for each new human player. When enough players joined and not one bot is left, are the stats then working or are they disabled because in the beginning was bots in ?

From the sound of it you're hosting a non-dedicated server from the full client and playing from there? If so, did you have "Collect Player Stats" checked? I'm not certain, but I'd guess that "Lan Game" would have to be unchecked.
As for the stats server, I might know a little more about those....the stats are logged even while the bots are logged in, but kills and deaths from bots are not logged.

That`s exactly what i am doing, and the "collect player stats" box is checked.

Could you clearify this a bit, i am not sure what you mean there. The LAN-Game box HAS to be unchecked or not, otherwise the game wouldnt show up over the internet. And it is unchecked in my settings.

I just thought, could it also be that only dedicated servers can collect the stats ?

In order to collect stats, you have to either enter a command in the console or and place the command in a startup batch file. Also, the server must connect to the master database.
Normally you would not want a listen server to do this, hence the extra step needed to enable world stats. There are several other log parsers that will collect and post your local stats to a sql database. If you are not going to run a dedicated server, this may be a better option for you.

Right, that sounds good then, at least its an explaination why i doesnt collect the stats. All i need now is the command i have to type in console or place in batch file. You know the command ?

Edit your UT2003.ini file and make sure the following are set:
[IpDrv.MasterServerUplink]
DoUplink=True
UplinkToGamespy=True
SendStats=True
Start the game, and enter this in the console:
?gamestats=true

Thx a lot.
I checked the [IpDrv.MasterServerUplink] already and it was set. I try now the console command.

sorry, i hate to be a pest, but when i enter in console "?gamestats=true" it says "unkown command" Tried it in all variations like capitals an so. The in-game statistic tells me "collecting stats" as false grrrrr. The server is set allright, the ut2003.ini is allright, wtf is wrong ?
