I have been playing ut2003 for about 2 months now. I have 56k so i dont play online that much. I can beat most levels bots pretty easily but when i play godlike i usually lose by about 10 or so. I was hoping someone would post a demo of them beating a godlike bot so i could learn from it. Anything else would help 2. Thanks. :D

Hurricane, I usually practice 1vs1 with Godlike bots and manage to beat them on and off. My recommendations would be:

1. You HAVE to control the powerups, ie double damage, shields, etc...the bots know exactly when/where the powerups will spawn so they always go for them couple seconds after they reappear. If you let a bot constantly get the DD and the shields before you do, then u're done for ;)

2. Keep your distance and take them out by either using the LG or the SR primary. They usually manage to kill me if they get too close to me.

3.Learn to use your shield effectively, especially against the link gun. If a godlike bot locks on you with the link, they usually kill u in a couple secs unless u can put a flak bomb in their face.

4. Ambush them...Pay close attention to elevators, weapon pick up sounds, footsteps to know where the bot's going and appear out of nowhere to take it out fast (cause they try to do the same to you!)
