I have installed patch 2225, and have not been able to launch UT2k3 ever since. I keep getting the following error(s):

<?int?UT2003.General.Abbreviation?> Build UT2003_Build_[2003-04-07_17.42]

OS: Windows 2000 5.0 (Build: 2195)
CPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 1133 MHz with 511MB RAM
Video: No Video

Can't find 'ini:Engine.Engine.GameEngine' in configuration file

History: UObject::SafeLoadError <- UObject::StaticLoadClass <- InitEngine

I have been looking throughout all of the various threads that have been posted regarding this error, and have tried several of the solutions, short of formatting and reinstalling everything. And before you tell me to do that, let's get serious, NOBODY should have to reinstall an operating system, and all of their apps to fix a game that has broken itself. It's ludicrous that anybody would even recommend that, and it just not an option for most people.

Anyway, after reinstalling UT, the Patch, uninstalling and subsequently reinstalling my video drivers with the latest supported version for my video card (Nvidia 44.1.0) I am still up $h1t creek.

I know that Nvidia, says it's not their problem, and frankly, they're right, it's not. Simply put Epic/Atari has released a patch that doesn't f***ing work right! Does anybody out there know if/when the next patch (to fix this patch) will be released?

Your help or comments are welcome.

Thanks,

S
