AMD XP2500+ @default speed
A7N8X deluxe ver 2.0
twinmos PC3200 256X2 winbond (running at 333mhz to sync with cpu)
Sapphire ATI-9800 pro 128 mb @default clock speed
Winxp pro (SP1 not installed yet)
Directx 9

3dmarks2001: 14980

-------------------------------------------

The system is running on updated drivers for both the sapphire card and my mainboard. Fast write and 8x-agp is enabled. The benchmark was done without AA&AF enabled.

It seems to me that this is a little too low. I've seen people with ti4200 cards do better benchmarks so obviously something must be wrong? Shouldnt I expect more juice from this system?

I think UT2003 benchmark is buggy. My result is as low as yours too but in game it seems a lot more.

Well I guess I get a pretty ok fps ingame (normally 60-90 fps at worst), but sometimes if there's a lot going on at the same time and the map is huge and outdoors I've seen it go as low as 36 fps for a few secs (typical slowdown). I heard the 9800pro was much better than the 9700pro when it came to minimum fps and ut2k3. It just seems that my system isnt running at max capability.

How is your system? How low does your geforce drop in fps when there's a lot of action?

Your scores are low. It's that simple.

The benchmark isn't buggy. Optimize you BIOS, the delete your UT2003 maxdetails file and the UT2003/systemfiles configuration files. Reset them to your liking, and see higher FPS both in-game, and benches.,
