hi i am trying to tackle the problem of my terrain not showing up and i have found a reason
the terrain is not being lit by the sunlight nor the level properties lighting to light the map i need to put lights everywhere and it makes it look weird
how do i make it so the map is lit by the level properties.
also i want to sunlight up the top of the map to cast a shadow bettween the mountains.
how do i do this anyone else have the same problem?

Your terrain info cannot be covered by any BSP brushes.
This will cause your terrain to look like crap.
Try moving your sunlight actor to be within view of the terrain info.
This may solve your problem.
If it works, the shadows should appear on the mountains without changing anything else.

First: the sunlight actor does not functions if there isnt a skybox. You can learn how to make a skybox.....here (http://www.planetunreal.com/architectonic/tutorials/first_level_part8.html) .
Now the terrain should be visible without using lights.
